Abstract

This study discusses consumer protection against misleading information in online loan services that disadvantage customers. It aims to analyze the legal protection provided and how judges apply the law in cases of information fraud, referring to Decision No. 526/Pid.Sus/2020/PN Jkt.Utr. The method used is normative legal research with a case study approach. The results show that consumer protection in Indonesia emphasizes business actors' responsibility and financial service transparency. Violations occur when service providers are not registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), causing financial and psychological losses to consumers.
