Abstract

Introduction: Sectio Caesarea is a birth procedure that involves an incision on the uterine wall. After surgery, mothers often face problems with low breast milk production, which can trigger anxiety and inhibit prolactin and oxytocin hormones. To overcome this problem, woolwich Massage therapy, which is a massage on an area of 1-1.5 cm above the mammary areola, is used to increase breast milk production. Objective: This research aims to provide nursing care to patients who experience ineffective milk production problems after caesarean section. Method: Descriptive case study is used, using the nursing process approach. Two respondents conducted interviews, observations, physical examinations, and filling out questionnaires about breast milk production. The results showed that woolwich massage therapy increased breast milk, and both patients felt better on the third day of treatment.
