Abstract

Abstrak Video podcast kini menjadi salah satu media edukasi yang efektif dalam menyampaikan isu-isu sosial, termasuk bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba dan dampaknya terhadap kehidupan seksual. Penelitian ini mengangkat proses produksi video podcast edukatif berjudul “Pengaruh Narkoba pada Kehidupan Seksual,” yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda, tentang risiko narkoba dalam konteks perilaku seksual berisiko. Dalam produksi video podcast ini, peran produser sangat sentral, mulai dari tahap pra-produksi, produksi, hingga pasca produksi. Produser bertanggung jawab melakukan riset mendalam, menyusun konsep acara, memilih narasumber, mengatur jadwal rekaman, mengawasi kualitas audio-visual, serta memastikan pesan edukatif tersampaikan dengan jelas dan menarik. Keterlibatan produser juga mencakup koordinasi tim, penyelesaian masalah teknis, hingga proses editing dan distribusi konten ke platform digital. Kebaharuan karya ini terletak pada fokus pembahasan yang spesifik mengenai hubungan narkoba dan perilaku seksual, serta penggunaan format video podcast yang interaktif dan mudah diakses. Hasil karya diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber informasi yang kredibel, memperluas literasi digital, dan mendorong masyarakat untuk menghindari narkoba. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi praktis dan akademis dalam pengembangan media edukasi berbasis digital di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: video podcast, produser, narkoba, perilaku seksual / ABSTRACT Video podcasts have emerged as an effective educational medium for delivering social issues, including the dangers of drug abuse and its impact on sexual life. This research highlights the production process of an educational video podcast titled “The Influence of Drugs on Sexual Life,” aiming to raise public awareness, especially among young people, about the risks of drugs in the context of risky sexual behavior. In this video podcast production, the producer plays a central role, starting from pre-production, production, to post-production stages. The producer is responsible for conducting in-depth research, designing the show concept, selecting sources, scheduling recordings, supervising audio-visual quality, and ensuring that educational messages are delivered clearly and attractively. The producer’s involvement also includes team coordination, solving technical issues, as well as editing and distributing the content to digital platforms. The novelty of this work lies in its specific focus on the relationship between drugs and sexual behavior, and the use of an interactive, easily accessible video podcast format. The results are expected to serve as a credible information source, expand digital literacy, and encourage the public to avoid drugs. This research also provides practical and academic contributions to the development of digital-based educational media in Indonesia. Keywords: video podcast, producer, drugs, sexual behavior
