Abstract

Video dokumenter ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan budaya yang tercipta dari musik yang memengaruhi banyak kalangan khususnya anak muda. Munculnya tren skena kalcer diawali dengan musik indie yang ada pada pertengahan tahun 2000an yang mengusung tema underground. Dari situlah muncul sebuah budaya yang mempengaruhi cara berpakaian, cara berfikir, dan cara mengekspresikan diri didalam keseharian yang disebut skena kalcer. Banyaknya genre musik indie juga bisa mempengaruhi budaya apa yang diciptakan serta aspek apa yang dipengaruhi oleh genre musik indie tersebut. Penataan visual menurut Rudolf Arnheim dalam bukunya Art and Visual Perception (1974) merujuk pada proses pengaturan elemen-elemen visual seperti bentuk, garis, warna, ruang, dan kontras dalam sebuah komposisi untuk menciptakan kesan yang harmonis dan bermakna. Arnheim menekankan bahwa penataan visual bukan sekadar soal estetika, tetapi juga melibatkan aspek psikologi persepsi. Setelah melakukan beberapa wawancara dengan para narasumber, seperti musisi indie, penggemar, serta pengamat, akhrinya menjawab bahwa musik indie dapat memengaruhi budaya anak muda, dan tren skena kalcer benar benar tercipta dari musik indie. Penataan visual yang dirancang secara optimal mampu secara signifikan meningkatkan mutu sebuah dokumenter serta memperluas apresiasi terhadap musik indie dan budaya anak muda. Karya visual yang autentik dan penuh makna tidak hanya memikat secara estetika, tetapi juga mampu menciptakan dampak emosional yang mendalam bagi penontonnya. Kata Kunci: Penataan Visual, Musik Indie, Skena kalcer / This documentary aims to reveal the culture that emerges from music, which significantly influences various groups, particularly young people. The rise of the "skena culture" trend originated from the indie music scene in the mid-2000s, characterized by its underground themes. This movement gave birth to a culture that shapes everyday aspects such as fashion, ways of thinking, and self-expression, collectively referred to as "skena culture".The diversity of indie music genres also plays a role in determining the type of culture created and the aspects influenced by those genres. According to Rudolf Arnheim in his book Art and Visual Perception (1974), visual composition refers to the process of arranging visual elements such as shapes, lines, colors, space, and contrast within a composition to create a harmonious and meaningful impression. Arnheim emphasizes that visual composition is not merely about aesthetics but also involves aspects of perceptual psychology. Interviews with various sources, including indie musicians, fans, and observers, revealed that indie music profoundly impacts youth culture, confirming that the "skena culture" trend truly originates from indie music. Thoughtfully crafted visual compositions can significantly enhance the quality of a documentary while broadening appreciation for indie music and youth culture.
