Abstract

Maraknya peristiwa atau kejadian yang merugikan masyarakat seperti pencurian, perampokan, pembegalan, kebakaran, banjir dan lainnya yang membahayakan mengharuskan masyarakat untuk waspada dan berhati-hati. Setiap orang dapat mengetahui peristiwa atau kejadian ini dengan cepat melalui media sosial. Dengan perkembangan teknologi dan media memungkinkan setiap orang dapat melihat informasi berdasarkan realita nyata seperti dalam akun jurnalisme warga berbasis sosial kemasyarakatan @infodepok_id. Ini menjadi bagian dari praktek new media di mana informasi yang dibagikan dapat ditemukan di internet dan penyajiannya dalam bentuk video, audio, hingga foto. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakukan yaitu untuk mengetahui dampak postingan yang dibagikan oleh akun @infodepok_id, apakah dengan melihat postingan akan meningkatkan kewaspadaan pengikutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survey dalam bentuk kuesioner. Kemudian, sampel dari penelitian berjumlah 100 responden ialah pengikut akun @infodepok_id dan tinggal di wilayah Depok. Setelah dilakukan pengolahan data, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat dampak yang dirasakan para responden yang merupakan pengikut akun setelah melihat postingan berupa foto atau video yang berkaitan dengan informasi seputar kejadian atau peristiwa yang terjadi di wilayah Depok. Hasilnya dibuktikan dengan bantuan SPSS. Salah satunya uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan persentase dampak dari postingan akun terhadap kewaspadaan sebesar 43,3%. Kemudian, hasil uji T menunjukkan hasil t hitung yang diperoleh lebih besar dari t tabel yang ditentukan yaitu 8,667 > 1,661. Serta hasil uji korelasi pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara variabel x yaitu postingan dan variabel y yaitu kewaspadaan sebesar 0,659. Kata kunci: Jurnalisme Warga, Kewaspadaan, Media, Postingan / The rise of incidents or occurrences that are detrimental to society, such as theft, robbery, muggings, fires, floods and other dangerous events, requires the public to be alert and careful. Everyone can find out about this event or incident quickly through social media. With the development of technology and media, it is possible for everyone to see information based on real reality, such as in the social-based citizen journalism account @infodepok_id. This is part of new media practices where the information shared can be found on the internet and presented in the form of video, audio and photos. The purpose of this research was to determine the impact of posts shared by the @infodepok_id account, whether seeing the posts would increase the awareness of followers. This research uses a quantitative approach and survey methods in the form of a questionnaire. Then, the research sample consisted of 100 respondents who were followers of the @infodepok_id account and lived in the Depok area. After processing the data, the results were obtained that there was an impact felt by respondents who were followers of the account after seeing posts in the form of photos or videos related to information about incidents or events that occurred in the Depok area. The results are realized with the help of SPSS. One of them is the determination coefficient test showing the percentage impact of account posts on alertness of 43,3%. Then, the results of the T test show that the t-count results obtained are greater than the specified t table, which is 8,667> 1,661. And the results of the Pearson Correlation test show a strong relationship between the x variable, namely posts, and the y variable, namely alertness, of 0,659.
