Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penegakan hukum terhadap pemberian fakta material yang tidak benar dalam transaksi jual beli saham di pasar modal oleh penyidik Polri. Pasar modal sebagai bagian dari sistem keuangan memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian, namun juga rentan terhadap tindakan yang merugikan, seperti manipulasi informasi material. Tindakan memberikan fakta material yang tidak benar dalam transaksi saham dapat menyebabkan kerugian yang signifikan bagi para investor dan mengganggu stabilitas pasar modal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran dan tanggung jawab penyidik Polri dalam menegakkan hukum terhadap pelaku yang memberikan informasi yang menyesatkan tersebut. Melalui pendekatan yuridis normatif dan analisis kasus, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses penegakan hukum dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penanganan kasus-kasus semacam ini di masa mendatang. Kata kunci: Penegakan hukum, fakta material, transaksi saham, pasar modal, penyidik Polri / This study discusses law enforcement against the provision of incorrect material facts in stock buying and selling transactions in the capital market by Police investigators. Capital markets as part of the financial system have an important role in the economy, but they are also vulnerable to adverse actions, such as the manipulation of material information. The act of providing incorrect material facts in stock transactions can cause significant losses for investors and disrupt the stability of the capital market. This study aims to analyze the role and responsibility of National Police investigators in enforcing the law against perpetrators who provide misleading information. Through a normative juridical approach and case analysis, this study identifies the obstacles faced in the law enforcement process and provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of handling these kinds of cases in the future.
