Abstract

Brigita Tawurutubun, 2019, Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, FKIP – UKI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen dan teknik purposive sampling untuk menentukan sampel, yaitu kelas VII-D sebagai kelompok kontrol dan VII-E sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Instrument yang digunakan berupa tes untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 4,185 lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1,66980, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Missouri Mathematics Project berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: Missouri Mathematics Project, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, kemampuan matematis / Brigita Tawurutubun, 2019, Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, FKIP – UKI This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of applying the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model on the mathematical creative thinking skills of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and purposive sampling technique to select the sample, with class VII-D as the control group and VII-E as the experimental group. The research instrument used was a test measuring mathematical creative thinking ability. The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test at a 5% significance level. The results of the analysis showed that the calculated t-value (tcount) of 4,185 was greater than the critical t-value (ttable) of 1,66980, leading to the rejection of H0 and the acceptance of Ha. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the Missouri Mathematics Project model significantly influences the improvement of students’ mathematical creative thinking skills.
