Abstract
Kemacetan lalu lintas menjadi salah satu permasalahan utama di kawasan perkotaan, khususnya pada persimpangan bersinyal. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan agar dapat menganalisis tingkat pelayanan jalan (Level of Service/LOS) di Persimpangan Bersinyal Pusat Grosir Cililitan (PGC), Jakarta Timur, yang merupakan salah satu simpang dengan volume lalu lintas tinggi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pedoman Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) 2023. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei primer, meliputi pengukuran geometri jalan, volume lalu lintas, panjang antrian, tundaan, serta hambatan samping. Selain itu, data sekunder mengenai jumlah penduduk juga digunakan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pelayanan jalan di simpang PGC bervariasi tergantung pada waktu dan volume lalu lintas. Pada jam sibuk, derajat kejenuhan mendekati atau melebihi batas yang ditentukan, mengindikasikan kondisi lalu lintas yang tidak stabil dan perlunya optimalisasi pengaturan sinyal lalu lintas. Berdasarkan temuan ini, beberapa rekomendasi diberikan, termasuk penyesuaian waktu siklus lampu lalu lintas dan pengelolaan hambatan samping untuk mengurangi panjang antrian dan tundaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pihak terkait dalam merancang solusi yang lebih efektif untuk mengatasi kemacetan di kawasan tersebut, serta mendukung terciptanya sistem transportasi yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Tingkat Pelayanan Jalan, Persimpangan Bersinyal, Pusat Grosir Cililitan, PKJI 2023, Panjang Antrian. / Traffic congestion is one of the main problems in urban areas, especially at signalized intersections. This research aims to analyze the level of road service (Level of Service/LOS) at the Cililitan Grosir Center (PGC) signalized intersection, East Jakarta, which is one of the intersections with high traffic volume. The research method uses the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI). Data was collected through primary surveys, including measurements of road geometry, traffic volume, queue length, delays and side obstacles. Apart from that, secondary data regarding population is also used. The analysis results show that the level of road service at the PGC intersection varies depending on the time of day and traffic volume. During peak hours, the degree of saturation approaches or exceeds the specified limits, indicating unstable traffic conditions and the need to optimize traffic signal settings. Based on these findings, several recommendations were provided, including adjusting traffic light cycle times and managing side barriers to reduce queue lengths and delays. It is hoped that this research can be a reference for related parties in designing more effective solutions to overcome congestion in the area, as well as supporting the creation of a more efficient and sustainable transportation system.
