Abstract
Motivasi dan hasil belajar fisika dikalangan siswa hingga saat ini masih rendah. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar dapat menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan PhET. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dan seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan PhET terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar fisika. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat quasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta dan untuk sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner (angket) yang digunakan untuk mengukur motivasi belajar dan soal tes yang digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar terkait materi hukum Ohm, rangkaian resistor dan hukum Kirchoff I. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 yang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan PhET berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Besar pengaruh perlakuan terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa diukur menggunakan effect size yang masing-masing memiliki nilai sebesar 0,289 dan 0,655 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan tinggi. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan PhET cukup berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan tinggi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. / Motivation and learning outcomes of physics among students are still low. One way to improve motivation and learning outcomes can be using contextual learning aided by PhET. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence and how much influence the application of contextual learning models assisted by PhET has on motivation and physics learning outcomes. The method in this study uses quantitative research which is quasi experimental. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta and the research sample was taken using purposive sampling. The instruments in this study used a questionnaire (questionnaire) used to measure learning motivation and test questions used to measure learning outcomes related to Ohm's law material, resistor circuits and Kirchoff I law. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test of 0.000 <0.05 which shows that the application of contextual learning assisted by PhET has an effect on student motivation and learning outcomes. The magnitude of the treatment effect on student motivation and learning outcomes is measured using effect size which has a value of 0.289 and 0.655, respectively, which is included in the medium and high categories. It can be concluded that the application of contextual learning assisted by PhET has a moderate effect on motivation and a high effect on learning outcomes.
