Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi virus di kelas X SMA Negeri 51 Jakarta. Kesulitan siswa memahami konsep abstrak virus mendorong pemanfaatan media AR yang mampu memvisualisasikan konsep secara konkret, interaktif, dan menarik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan non-equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media AR dan kelas kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest, posttest, dan observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media AR. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media AR secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada ranah C1 (mengingat), C2 (memahami), dan C3 (mengaplikasikan). Uji hipotesis menggunakan independent samples t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,018 (p < 0,05) pada hasil posttest, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 73,08 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang memiliki rata-rata 65,63 dengan selisih 7,44 poin. Media AR dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi virus, terutama dalam aspek visualisasi dan interaktivitas. Hasil penelitian mendukung bahwa media AR dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran biologi untuk mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar kognitif yang lebih optimal. Kata Kunci: Media Augmented Reality, Hasil Belajar Kognitif, Materi Virus. / This study aimed to determine the effect of using Augmented Reality (AR) learning media on students' cognitive learning outcomes on virus material in class X at Senior High School 51 Jakarta. The difficulty of students understanding the abstract concept of viruses encourages the use of AR media that is able to visualize concepts concretely, interactively, and interestingly. The research method used was quasi-experiment with non-equivalent control group design. This study involved two classes, namely experimental classes that used AR media and control classes with conventional learning methods. Data were collected through pretest, posttest, and observation of learning implementation using AR media. The results of the analysis showed that the use of AR media significantly improved students' cognitive learning outcomes in the domains of C1 (remembering), C2 (understanding), and C3 (applying). Hypothesis testing using independent samples t-test showed a significance value of 0.018 (p < 0.05) on the posttest test, which means there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes. The average posttest score of the experimental class was 73.08 higher than the control class which had an averagepoint of 65.63 with a difference of 7.44 points. AR media can be an effective solution to improve students' understanding of virus material, especially in the aspects of visualization and interactivity. The findings support that AR media can be integrated in biology learning to support the achievement of more optimal cognitive learning outcomes.
