Abstract

Beberapa daerah di Indonesia memiliki bangunan cagar budaya sebagai bentuk peninggalan sejarah masa lampau yang patut dilestarikan. Kota Rengasdengklok yang memiliki kawasan bersejarah dengan tiga buah bangunan cagar budaya yaitu Rumah Sejarah, Monumen Kebulatan Tekad dan Kantor Kawedanaan, memiliki nilai historis melalui peristiwa sejarah yang penting pada saat menjelang dan sesudah kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia. Kawasan bersejarah Kota Rengasdengklok terletak di kawasan perkotaan dengan keberadaan alun-alun dan kantor pemerintahan maka kawasan ini menampilkan suatu kawasan yang khas dan unik sehingga mencerminkan identitas dan karakter Kota Rengasdengklok. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji kondisi kawasan yang memiliki nilai kultural tinggi, di mana keberadaan bangunan bersejarah mempunyai pengaruh terhadap pembentukan kawasan dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Sebagai bentuk pengembangan dan pelestarian kawasan bersejarah maka dibutuhkan upaya revitalisasi guna menghidupkan dan meningkatkan kualitas kawasan. Melalui konsep ekositem budaya yang dikaitkan dengan aspek lingkungan, budaya dan warisan sejarah diharapkan dapat tercapai keseimbangan lingkungan hidup dan pelestarian warisan budaya serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan pengumpulan data-data menggunakan metode pengamatan dan mengkaji secara visual berupa obserasi yaitu survey lokasi, membuat dokumentasi, studi literatur dan wawancara dengan beberapa narasumber. Berdasarkan data tersebut kemudian diolah dengan mengidentifikasi potensi dan permasalahan yang ada di dalam kawasan bersejarah tersebut. Dari hasil penjabaran analisa didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu berupa konsep pengembangan kawasan dengan fokus utama pada alun-alun dan membuat rekomendasi dengan memberikan ilustrasi berupa contoh gambar-gambar. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai arahan dan masukan bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat untuk pengembangan dan pelestarian kawasan bersejarah Kota Rengadengklok. Peran serta pemerintah, non pemerintah dan masyarakat dibutuhkan dalam mengelola, merawat dan memelihara kawasan bersejarah agar dapat dijadikan sebagai warisan budaya dan sejarah bagi generasi saat ini dan yang akan datang. Kata kunci : Ekosistem budaya, Revitalisasi, Rengasdengklok. / Several regions in Indonesia have cultural heritage buildings as a form of historical heritage from the past that should be preserved. Rengasdengklok City, which has a historical area with three cultural heritage buildings, namely the Historical House, the Monument of Determination and the Kawedanaan Office, has historical value through important historical events during the period leading up to and after the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. The historical area of Rengasdengklok City is located in an urban area with the presence of a town square and government offices, so this area displays a distinctive and unique area that reflects the identity and character of Rengasdengklok City. The purpose of the study was to examine the condition of the area that has high cultural value, where the existence of historical buildings has an influence on the formation of the area and its surrounding environment. As a form of development and preservation of historical areas, revitalization efforts are needed to revive and improve the quality of the area. Through the concept of a cultural ecosystem that is linked to environmental, cultural and historical heritage aspects, it is hoped that a balance can be achieved in the environment and preservation of cultural heritage and improve the socio-economic welfare of the local community. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method, while data collection uses observation methods and visual review in the form of observations, namely location surveys, making documentation, literature studies and interviews with several sources. Based on these data, it is then processed by identifying the potential and problems in the historic area. From the results of the analysis, a conclusion was obtained in the form of a concept for developing the area with a main focus on the town square and making recommendations by providing illustrations in the form of sample images. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as direction and input for the government and community for the development and preservation of the historic area of Rengadengklok City. The participation of the government, non-government and community is needed in managing, caring for and maintaining the historic area so that it can be used as a cultural and historical heritage for current and future generations.
