Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah masih ditemukan siswa yang merasa bingung dan khawatir terhadap pilihan karier di masa depan serta merasa kurang percaya diri dengan potensi dirinya berada pada kategori rendah. Siswa yang tidak memiliki kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karier yang baik akan mengalami keraguan dalam menentukan potensi diri, kelebihan dan kekurangan diri, serta pilihan karier di masa depan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah penerapan konseling kelompok realitas dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karier siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan penerapan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik dalam pengambilan sampel dalam studi ini menerapkan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 10 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan oleh peneliti. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penerapan konseling kelompok realitas efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karier siswa. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis uji normalitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Shapiro-Wilk Test, dan ditemukan bahwa data yang dihasilkan memiliki distribusi normal. Nilai Shapiro-Wilk untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,298 dan nilai pretest kelas kontrol sebesar 0,555 sedangkan nilai posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,913 dan nilai posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 0,617, yang menunjukan bahwa hasil keduanya lebih besar dari 0,05 (sig > 0,05). Selanjutnya, untuk menguji perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test, digunakan uji paired sampel t-test dengan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) p=0,000 yang artinya p-value tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05 (<0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pre-test dengan post-test. Pada penelitian ini, hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua tes yang diuji. Kata Kunci: Strategi Konseling Kelompok Realitas, Pengambilan Keputusan Karier, Siswa SMK. / The problem in this research is that students are still found who feel confused and worried about future career choices and feel less confident about their potential in the low category. Students who do not have good career decision making skills will experience doubts in determining their potential, their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their career choices in the future. The purpose of this research is to see whether the application of reality group counseling can improve students' career decision-making abilities. The research method used was quasi�experimental with the application of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique in this research used the purposive sampling method. The number of samples in this study was 10 students selected based on criteria determined by the researcher. This research hypothesis states that the application of reality group counseling is effective in developing students' career decision�making abilities. Data analysis in this study used SPSS version 26. In this study, normality test analysis was carried out using the Shapiro-Wilk Test technique, and the resulting data was normally distributed. The Shapiro-Wilk score in the experimental class was 0.298 and the pretest score in the control class was 0.555, while the posttest score in the experimental class was 0.913 and the posttest score in the control class was 0.617, which shows that the results of both are the same. greater than 0.05 (sig > 0.05). Next, to test the significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores, a paired difference test (paired sample t-test) was used with a significance value (2-tailed) p=0.000, which means the p-value is smaller than 0.05 (<0 .05). These results show that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. In this study the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted which shows that there is a significant difference between the two tests tested.
