Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah untuk memperkuat kemampuan literasi dan numerasi peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Santo Vincentius Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, studi dokumen dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum dan program sekolah telah membantu peserta didik mengembangkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasinya walau budaya membaca belum terbentuk sepenuhnya pada diri siswa. Berbagai kegiatan literasi telah menghasilkan produk literasi yang menunjukkan perkembangan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi peserta didik. Namun sekolah belum sepenuhnya menerapkan disain program literasi sekolah yang disarankan pemerintah. Lingkungan fisik dan fasilitas sekolah belum digunakan secara optimal. Kata Kunci: implementasi, literasi, numerasi. / The research was aimed at knowing how the implementation of school literation program to develop the literation and numeration ability of the students. The research was conducted at Santo Vincentius Junior High School Jakarta. It was a qualitative research with descriptive method. Interview, observation and documents study were done to collect the data. The result showed that students’ literacy and numeration ability had already developed. School curriculum and school programs had contributed to the development of students’ literation and numeration ability. Various literation activities has resulted in several kinds of literation products indicating the improvement of students’ abilities. However, the school had not completely applied the design of School Literation Program recommended by Government. School environment and facilities had not been optimally used.
