Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus kepada pengembangan program creativity, action, service di Global Jaya International School di Bintaro Jaya Sektor IX, Tangerang Selatan, Banten.Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mendapatkan strategi pengembangan program CAS bagi Global Jaya International School.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Global Jaya International School antara bulan Juni 2011 sampai Juni 2012.Obyek penelitian ini adalah program CAS yang dilaksanakan oleh siswa Kelas 11 dan Kelas 12 di Global Jaya International School.Paradigma penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif.Metode data triangulasi untuk memvalidasi data juga telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil studi menyimpulkan bahwa program CAS yang telah dilaksanakan di Global Jaya International School berlangsung baik dan bermanfaat bagi siswa serta masyarakat sekitar.Perlu dilaksanakan pengembangan program untuk memberi arah dan bimbingan para pihak yang berkepentingan dalam rangka mencapai tujuan sekolah yang lebih baik.Siswa tampak bersemangat dan mendapatkan nilai-nilai hidup yang bermakna melalui kegiatan CAS karena telah berhasil mengekspresikan kreativitas, aksi dan pelayanan yang telah disadari menjadi bagian yang penting bagi siswa, warga dan lingkungan di sekitarnya. Kata-kata kunci: kreativitas, aksi, pelayanan, pengembangan program. / This research focuses on the development of creativity, action, service at Global Jaya International Schoolat Bintaro Jaya Sector IX South Tangerang, Banten. The objective of the research is to gain the development strategy of CAS program at Global Jaya International School. The research was conducted at Global Jaya International School between June, 2011 until June 2012. Research object was CAS program conducted by students from Grade 11 and Grade 12 at Global Jaya International School. Its paradigm was qualitative and the research method was descriptive. Data triangulation method for data validation was also implemented for this research. The result of the study concluded that CAS program that conducted at Global Jaya International School was going well and was giving benefits for students and the communities surrounded. Development program need to be implemented to provide direction and guidance of interested parties in order to achieve better school. Students seemed enthusiastic and achieved significant life values because they accomplished to express their creativity, action and service which were realized as the important part of themselves, community and environment all around.
