Abstract

Kepemimpinan sangat penting bagi kelangsungan pelayanan gereja. Kepemimpinan yang baik akan sangat bergantung pada tingkat komitmen, konsistensi serta kesediaan menerima konsekuensi pelayanan dalam kerendahan hati, sehingga menyebabkan mereka yang dipimpinannya dengan penuh kesadaran melakukan serangkaian tindakan guna mencapai tujuan yang telah disepakati. Kepemimpinan pendeta perempuan secara teoritis diartikan sebagai kemampuan seorang perempuan pendeta dalam menggerakan atau memengaruhi jemaat dan dirinya menuju suatu tujuan dengan visi tertentu, serta mentransformasi komunitasnya sehingga kondisinya semakin baik. Pemimpin pendeta perempuan GPIB adalah seseorang yang memulai tindakan dengan memberikan arahan, menyelesaikan perselisihan, melakukan perubahan dan pembaharuan, bersikap demokratis, memiliki kemampuan bersinergi serta berorientasi pada hasil dan tujuan gereja itu sendiri. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kantor Majelis Sinode GPIB dengan teknik pengumpulan data deskritif kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat keadaan yang sebenarnya dari kepemimpinan pendeta perempuan di lingkup sinodal GPIB. Kemudian dilakukan analisis untuk melihat kendala, cara pendekatan agar dengan studi teologi dan pedagogi ini dapat mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Studi teologi terhadap kepemimpinan perempuan menyatakan bahwa Allah menghendaki perempuan berkiprah pada lingkup sosial mana pun, terutama pada lingkup gereja, karena Allah menciptakan perempuan setara dan sejajar dengan laki-laki dan memanggilnya untuk ikut berkuasa atas seluruh ciptaan Allah (Kej. 1). Studi pedagogis terhadap kepemimpinan perempuan harus berorientasi pada kurikulum yang sensitif-gender sehingga berdampak pada kesetaraan yang berkeadilan. Kata kunci: kepemimpinan, pendeta perempuan, studi teologi dan studi pedagogi. / Leadership is very important in the continuity of church ministry. Good leadership depends on the level of commitment, consistency and willingness to humbly accept the consequences of the ministry and make those under their ministry fully aware of their action to attain the common goal. The leadership of a female pastor is theoretically defined as the ability of a female pastor to move or influence the congregation and herself toward a goal with a certain vision, and transform her community to become a better one. A female pastor leader of GPIB is a person who starts her action by guiding and making up any disagreement, making changes and renewal, having democratic attitude and the ability to synergize, and orient herself towards the church’s goal. The research was conducted in the office of GPIB Synod by collecting the data descriptively and qualitatively from the library study, interviews, observation and documentation. The study was carried out to see the actual condition of female pastor leadership in the GPIB synod. The analysis was conducted to see the obstacles, approaches through the theological and pedagogical study to reach the expected goal. The theological study on female leadership acknowledges that God wishes women to involve in any social circles, especially in church because God created women to be equal and comparable to men and called them to rule over all God’s creation (Genesis 1). The pedagogical study on female leadership must be oriented towards gender-sensitive curriculum so that it gives impact on judicious equality.
