Abstract

Bernadet Helen Runtuwene, Efektivitas Pendidikan Agama Kristen di Sekolah-Sekolah Yayasan Kristen Ketapang II Jakarta Barat. Tesis. Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Agama Kristen Pascasarajana Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta, 2013. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan Efektivitas Pendidikan Agama Kristen di Sekolah-Sekolah Yayasan Kristen Ketapang II Jakarta Barat. Fokuskan pada perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengendalian pendidikan agama Kristen di Yayasan Kristen Ketapang II Jakarta Barat. Analisis data dimulai dari pengumpulan informasi melalui wawancara, mencatat hasil dilapangan pada tahap akhir dengan menarik kesimpulan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Efektivitas Pendidikan Agama Kristen di Sekolah-sekolah Yayasan Kristen Ketapang II Jakarta Barat adalah 1) Kurikulum pendidikan agama Kristen yang digunakan sesuai dengan ketetapan pemerintah, guru pendidikan agama Kristen mengembangkan dalam cara yang berbeda dan kurang mensosialisasikan kurikulum serta melibatkan anak didik dalam proses pembelajaran, 2) Adanya kekurangan tenaga guru pendidikan agama kristen, 3) Metode pengajaran pendidikan agama Kristen yang sering dipakai adalah metode ceramah dan kurangnya literatur tentang pendidikan agama kristen, fasilitas sekolah kurang memadai dikarenakan gedung sekolah masih bersifat kontrak, 4) Evaluasi penilaian pendidikan agama Kristen yang digunakan lebih kepada segi kognitif dan afektif sedangkan segi psikomotoris dari anak didik masih kurang. Kesimpulannya bahwa perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengendalian pendidikan agama Kristen di Sekolah-sekolah Yayasan Kristen Ketapang II Jakarta Barat belum efektif, karena pihak sekolah masih kurang mengkaji, mensosialisasikan dan meningkatkan bahan ajar, tenaga guru pendidikan agama kristen, metode pengajaran dan fasilitas sekolah serta segi psikomotorik anak didik. Oleh karena itu pihak sekolah harus mengupayakan adanya suatu perubahan dan peningkatan mutu dalam sistem pembelajaran di sekolah yang berkarakter kristiani ini. The Effectiveness of Christian Religious Education in the Christian Foundation Schools at Ketapang II, West Jakarta. A Thesis. The aim of the research is to find out the Effectiveness of Christian religious education in the Christian Foundation Schools of Ketapang II west Jakarta. The research approach is conducted by applying qualitative method, data collection technique is done by observations, interviews and documentation. This research is focused on the planning, organization, implementation and control of Christian religious education at the Christian Foundation Schools of Ketapang II West Jakarta. Data analysis was begun by collecting information through interviews, recording the results on the field, sorting, classifying, providing the code, and categorizing at the final stage to draw conclusions. The results of the research shows that the Effectiveness of Christian Religious Education in Christian Foundation Schools of Ketapang II West Jakarta are: 1) Christian Religious Education Curriculum used is in accordance with the provisions of the government. Christian religious education teachers lack in socializing the curriculum and in involving students in the learning process. 2) There is a shortage of Christian religious education teachers. 3) The methods of teaching Christian religious education are often done through lecture and lack of literatures on Christian religious education and inadequate school facilities because they do not have a permanently owned school building. 4) The evaluation of Christian religious education assessment is more on the cognitive and affective and still lacking in psychomotoric aspect. The conclusion of this research is that the planning, organizing, implementation and control of Christian religious education in the Christian Foundation schools at Ketapang II, West Jakarta is not effective enough, because they are still lagging in reviewing, socializing and improving their teaching materials, short-staffed in Christian religious education teachers, weak in teaching method, lack of school facilities and students’ effective aspects are low. Therefore, the schools must strive for perfection and transformation in order to improve their learning system where Christian character is the core of education.
