Abstract

Tenaga kesehatan adakalanya diperhadapkan pada permintaan pasien atau keluarga pasien untuk melakukan Euthanasia untuk melakukan tindakan Euthanasia. Di Indonesia tindakan ini masih dalam perdebatan terutama karena pertentangan dengan norma-norma yang telah melekat di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pola pikir dan sikap mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia (FK UKI) angkatan 2017 terhadap Euthanasia. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-November 2018 dengan metode survei deskriptif menggunakan kuisioner dengan sampel sebanyak 120 orang angkatan 2017 yang dipilih secara acak sederhana. Hasil univariat mendapatkan bahwa 26,9% berpendapat bahwa Euthanasia harus diizinkan dan dibantu oleh tenaga medis dan hasil sikap menunjukan 55% responden setuju dengan tindak Euthanasia. Kata kunci: Euthanasia, pola pikir, sikap. / Medical workers sometimes received Euthanasia request from patients or their families. In Indonesia, Euthanasia is still a big controversy especially about how it counters norms that has been attached in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to see the illustration of mindset and attitude of Medical Students of Christian University of Indonesia 2017 generation regarding Euthanasia. This study was conducted in August-November 2018 using descriptive survey method, with data from questionnaires that was given to 120 samples of Medical Students of Christian University of Indonesia 2017 generation. The sample was picked using simple random sampling. Univariate analysis result shows 26,9% respondents agreed to legalisation and support from the medical workers and 55% respondents agreed to the act of Euthanasia Keywords: Euthanasia, mindset, attitude.
