Abstract

Latar Belakang : Diabetes mellitus (DM) adalah gannguan kesehatan yang berupa kumpulan gejala yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan kadar gula (glukosa) darah akibat kekurangan atau resistensi insulin. DM dapat menimbulkan komplikasi seperti hipertensi, infark miokard, retinopati diabetic, neropati diabetic. Factor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penyakit diabetes mellitus adalah usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, obesitas,aktifitas fisik, hipertensi, merokok, kurang konsumsi sayur dan buah. Metode : Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi dokumen (rekam medik) menggunakan metode observasional deskriptif dengan metode penelitian retrospektif. Dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 63 pasien DM tipe 2 yang tercatat dalam rekam medic di RS.uki Jakarta timur Hasil : berdasarkan hasil uji diperoleh bahwa umur, jenis kelamin . tingkat pendidikan, indeks masa tubuh dan aktifitas fisik sangat berpengaruh terhadap penyakit diabetes mellitus tipe 2 . Kata kunci : Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2, Faktor risiko Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2. / Latar Belakang :Diabetes Melitus (DM) is a collection of heart disorder symtoms caused by elevated levels of sugar ( glucose), blood deficiency or insulin resistance. DM can cause complication such as hypertency, myocardial infarction, diabetic retinopaty,diabetic neuropathy etc. factors releted with diabetes mellitus are age,sex,obesity, physical activity, hypentenci, smoking, and less consumption of fruits and vegetables. Metode : The type of research used in this study is a document study (medical record) using a descriptive observational method with a retrospective research method. In this study, 63 patients with type 2 DM were recorded in the medical record at RS.uki, East Jakarta. Hasil : based on the test results obtained that age, gender. education level, body mass index and physical activity greatly influence type 2 diabetes mellitus. Keywords : Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
