Abstract

Obesitas adalah permasalahan umum pada anak-anak pada masa sekarang ini. Obesitas atau kelebihan berat badan dapat menyebabkan efek negatif untuk kesehatan. Di Indonesia, berdasarkan data Riskesdas oleh Kementrian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia tahun 2013, prevalensi overweight dan obesitas pada anak usia 5-12 tahun mencapai 18,8%. Pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku seseorang dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu usia, pekerjaan dan pendidikan terakhir. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Perumahan Kedamaian Permai untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku ibu terhadap obesitas pada anak usia 5- 10 tahun . Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif observasional dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang terdiri dari tiga bagian, yaitu bagian pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku, dengan masing- masing kuesioner terdapat 10 pernyataan mengenai obesitas. Hasil penelitian pada 45 orang responden menunjukkan bahwa 71% (32 orang) memiliki pengetahuan baik, 80% (36 orang) memiliki sikap positif dan 60% (27 orang) berperilaku buruk dalam perilaku terhadap obesitas. Kata kunci : obesitas, pengetahuan, sikap, perilaku. / Obesity is a common problem in children today.Obesity or being overweight can cause negative effects on health. In Indonesia, based on Riskesdas data by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2013, the prevalence of overweight and obesity in children aged 5-12 years reached 18.8%. Knowledge, attitudes and behavior of a person can be influenced by several factors namely age, occupation and last education. This research was conducted at Permai Peace Housing to know the description of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of mothers towards obesity in children aged 5-10 years. This research is an observational descriptive using cross sectional design. Data was collected using a questionnaire consisting of three parts, namely the knowledge, attitudes and behavior, with each questionnaire there are 10 statements about obesity. The results of 45 respondents showed that 71% (32 people) had good knowledge, 80% (36 people) had positive attitudes and 60% (27 people) behaved badly in behaviors towards obesity.
