Abstract

Paparan bising kronik akibat penggunaan headset untuk mendengarkan musik dapat menurunkan fungsi pendengaran. Tujuan penulisan skripsi ini untuk memaparkan efek dari penggunaan headset terhadap fungsi pendegaran dilihat dari segi lama penggunaan, frekuensi penggunaan, volume saat mendengarkan musik. Beberapa orang mendengarkan musik dengan menggunakan headset tidak hanya untuk relaksasi, tetapi juga untuk dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi dalam bekerja. Penggunaan headset dapat menghindari gangguan dari lingkungan sehingga dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi individu. Melihat banyaknya penggunaan musik di tempat kerja, maka perlu kiranya untuk orang menyadari pengaruh musik dan penggunaan headset terhadap performansi dan kenyamanan pekerja saat melakukan pekerjaannya. Kata Kunci : Headset, efek penggunaan headset. / Chronic noise exposure due to the use of a headset for listening to music can reduce the function of hearing. The purpose of this thesis to determine the effect of the use of a headset to function hearing in terms of duration of use, frequency of use, the volume when listening to music. Some people listen to music using the headset is not only for relaxation, but also to be able to increase their concentration on work. Using a headset can avoid interference, thereby increasing the concentration of the individual. Seeing the heavy use of music in the workplace, it is essential to realize the influence of music and the use of headset to the performance and safety of workers while doing his job.
