Abstract

Akne Vulgaris (AV) merupakan suatu peradangan kronis dari folikel pilosebasea yang ditandai dengan adanya komedo, papul, kista dan pustul pada daerah-daerah tertentu misalnya muka, bahu, lengan bagian atas, dada dan punggung. Hal ini terjadi karena peningkatan aktivitas kelenjar sebasea yang dipengaruhi hormon seksual atau hormon androgen yang berdampak pada kulit remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan gejala klinis atopi dengan kejadian tingkat keparahan akne. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian potong lintang. responden didapatkan dengan cara accidental sampling. Penilaian tingkat keparahan AV secara klinis menurut Consensus Conference on Acne Clasification didapatkan 142 responden,. Hasil penelitian ini tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara hubungan gejala klinis atopi dengan kejadian tingkat keparahan akne. Kata Kunci: Akne Vulgaris, tingkat keparahan akne, gejala klinis atopi. / Acne Vulgaris (AV) is a chronic inflammation of the pilosebaceous follicle that manifests in the forms of comedones, papules, cysts and pustules in certain body areas such as the face, shoulders, upper arms, chest and back. This condition may be caused by the increased activity of sebaceous glands that are regulated by sexual hormones or androgen hormones that affect the skin among adolescents. This research is aimed to determine the relationship between atopic clinical symptoms and the incidence of severity of acne. This research is a cross sectional study, in which the researcher selected the respondents through accidental sampling. Based on the Consensus Conference of Acne Classification’s assessment of AV clinical severity, the researcher selected 142 respondents in this research. According to the result of research analysis, there is no significant correlation between atopic clinical symptoms and the incidence of severity of acne.
