Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) Mengetahui karakteristik komik keanekaragaman Tumbuhan untuk kelas X SMAN 42 Jakarta. Komik merupakan penggunaan ilustrasi gambar dan teks untuk menceritakan cerita atau menyampaikan gagasan. SMAN 42 Jakarta memiliki 12 jenis tumbuhan yang berada di lingkungan perkarangan sekolah. Seluruh tumbuhan di SMAN 42 Jakarta belum diberikan atau memiliki klasifikasi tumbuhan yang dapat membantu peserta didik untuk mengenal dan mengetahui klasifikasi dan nama ilmiah tanaman tersebut, (2) Mengembangkan komik keanekaragaman tumbuhan yang sudah layak menurut penilaian para ahli, (3) Untuk mengetahui persepsi peserta didik kelas X SMAN 42 Jakarta terhadap komik keanekaragaman tumbuhan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Komik telah divalidasi oleh 3 ahli yang menentukan kelayakan ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli Bahasa. Presentase rata-rata indeks tertinggi adalah 1,00 dengan kategori “sangat layak/sangat valid” dengan presentase rata-rata indeks terendah adalah 0,66 dengan kategori “layak/valid”. Tanggapan peserta didik mendapatkan skor tetinggi yaitu 83,9% dari 100% yang diharapkan dan presentasi terendah yaitu 73,9% dari 100% yang diharapkan. Hasil tanggapan peserta didik dengan presentase dari tingkat persetujuan 1-20 berada pada setuju. / This reseach aims: (1) To know characteristic of the comic diversity of plants for class X SMAN 42 Jakarta. Comics are the use of illustrated images and text to tell a story or convey ideas. SMAN 42 Jakarta has 12 types of plants in the school's environment. All the plants in SMAN 42 Jakarta have not been classified or don’t have a plant classification that can help students recognize and know the classification and scientific names of those plants, (2) Develop comic diversity of plants that are appropriate according to the assessment of experts, (3) To find out the perceptions of tenth grade students of SMAN 42 Jakarta to works product. This research method uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The product have been validated by 3 experts who determine the eligibility of material experts, media experts, and language experts. The highest average percentage index is 1,00 with the category “very feasible/very valid” with the lowest average percentage index being 0,66 with the category “decent/valid”. 83,9% is the highest score from student responses and the lowest presentation is 73,9%. The results of the responses of students with a presentage of the 1-20 level of agreement are in agree.
