Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran explicit instruction serta persentase peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa. Model pembelajaran explicit instruction berbantuan aplikasi quizizz merupakan variable bebas sedangkan variable terikatnya adalah hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dua kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sumpling. Hasil t- test menunjukan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari nilai alfa (α) yaitu 0.000 < 0.05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model explicit instruction berbantuan aplikasi quizizz berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kimia pada materi senyawa hidrokarbon. Kata Kunci: explicit instruction, aplikasi quizizz, senyawa hidrokarbon. / The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of explicit instruction learning models and the percentage increase in student chemistry learning outcomes. The explicit instruction learning model aided by the quizizz application is an independent variable while the dependent variable is the learning outcome. This study uses a quasi-experimental method and the research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was taken two classes, namely class XI MIA 1 as an experimental class and XI MIA 2 as a control class. Sampling is done by non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sumpling method. T-test results indicate that the value of sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than the alpha value (α) which is 0,000 <0.05 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that learning by using the explicit instruction model aided by the application of quizizz has a significant effect on the improvement of chemical learning outcomes in the hydrocarbon compound material.
