Abstract

Persepsi merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting bagi keberadaan manusia dalam menanggapi dan menangkap bermacam-macam aspek dari lingkungannya, sehubungan dengan hal manusia mempunyai berbagai macam cara pandang melalui alat indera dan kemudian berusaha dengan tujuan menafsirkan apa yang sudah ditangkap. Saat ini kasus penyalahgunaan pajak menjadi sorotan publik, karena nyatanya kasus ini menyangkut beberapa nama pejabat dari Direktorat Jenderal Pajak itu sendiri, setelah melewati beberapa pemeriksaan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana persepsi wajib pajak terhadap isu penyalahgunaan pajak oleh karyawan Direktorat Jenderal Pajak. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan konsep persepsi dengan memakai Transasctional Theory Of Perception sebagai panduan peneliti untuk meneliti persepsi yang ada pada wajib pajak, pada teori persepsi ini merupakan salah satu teori yang memfokuskan peran suatu individu pada hubungan yang aktif antara individu dan lingkungannya, hal ini menjadi acuan sebagai untuk melihat bagaimana persepsi wajib pajak setelah mengatahui isu penyalahgunaan pajak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peniliti adalah Teknik wawancara yang menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling yang mempertimbangkan kriteria tertentu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa persepsi masyarakat wajib pajak yang merupakan lima informan yang telah diwawancara dan dari berbagai kategori seperti Pegawai Negeri Sipil, Pengusaha, Pekerja, Mahasiswa yang sudah berkerja, dan Ojek Online peneliti menemukan beranggapan bahwa kasus tentang suap, korupsi, dan lain sebagainya yang dilakukan oleh karyawan Direktorat Jenderal Pajak itu sendiri merupakan kasus yang sudah sering terjadi, walaupun sudah banyak kasus yang terjadi dan sudah banyak tindakan yang sudah diberikan tidak membuat oknum-oknum yang bersangkutan menjadi jera. Selain itu para informan juga beranggapan bahwa kasus serupa juga dilakukan oleh oknum yang saat ini sedang viral saat ini tetapi hal serupa juga dilakukan oleh pegawai Dirjen Pajak yang lain mungkin yang memiliki jabatan lebih tinggi. / Perception is one of the most important aspects of human existence in responding to and capturing various aspects of their environment, in connection with this, humans have various perspectives through their senses and then try to interpret what has been captured. At present the case of tax abuse is in the public spotlight, because in fact this case involves several names of officials from the Directorate General of Taxes itself, after having gone through several investigations. Therefore this study wants to see how the perception of taxpayers on the issue of tax abuse by employees of the Directorate General of Taxes. In this study, the concept of perception is used by using the Transactional Theory of Perception as a guide for researchers to examine the perceptions that exist in taxpayers, this perception theory is one of the theories that focuses on the role of an individual on an active relationship between the individual and his environment, this becomes a reference as to see how the perception of taxpayers after knowing the issue of tax abuse. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique used by researchers is an interview technique that uses a purposive sampling technique that considers certain criteria. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of the tax payer community which are five informants who have been interviewed and from various categories such as Civil Servants, Entrepreneurs, Workers, Students who are already working, and Ojek Online researchers found that they think that cases of bribery, corruption, and so on which was carried out by employees of the Directorate General of Taxes itself is a case that has often occurred, even though there have been many cases that have occurred and many actions have been taken that have not deterred the individuals concerned. In addition, the informants also thought that similar cases were also carried out by individuals who are currently going viral at the moment, but other employees of the Director General of Taxes may also have higher positions.
