Abstract

Latar belakang: De quervain syndrome merupakan suatu kondisi dimana terjadi peradangan yang disertai nyeri dari selaput tendon yang berada disarung synovial, dimana berfungsi untuk menyelubungi otot ekstensor pollicis brevis dan otot abductor pollicis longus. Gejala dan keluhan yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh penyakit ini antara lain rasa nyeri dari sekitar ibu jari, bengkak pergelangan tangan sisi ibu jari, rasa tebal sekitar ibu jari, sendi ibu jari terasa kaku saat bergerak, dan penurunan lingkup gerak sendi carpometacarpal I. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui Pentalaksanaan Fisioterapi Pada Kondisi De Quervain Syndrome dengan modalitas ultrasound dan hold relax. Hasil: Setelah dilakukan terapi sebanyak 3 kali dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan ultrasound dan hold relax cukup efektif pada pasien de quervain syndrome, dengan mengurangi nyeri gerak, menambah ROM, dan meningkatkan aktivitas fungsional. Kesimpulan: Ultrasound dapat mengurangi nyeri gerak maupun tekan, Hold relax dapat meningkatkan ROM dan mengurangi nyeri. / De quervain syndrome is a condition where there is inflammation accompanied by pain of the tendon sheath which is in the synovial sheath, which functions to cover the extensor pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus muscles. Symptoms and complaints that can be caused by this disease include pain from around the thumb, swelling of the wrist side of the thumb, a thick feeling around the thumb, the thumb joint feels stiff when moving, and decreased range of motion of the carpometacarpal joint I. Purpose: To know Physiotherapeutic Management of De Quervain Syndrome with ultrasound and hold relax modalities. Results: After 3 treatments, it can be concluded that the use of ultrasound and hold relax is quite effective in de quervain syndrome patients, by reducing motion pain, increasing ROM, and increasing functional activity. Conclusion: Ultrasound can reduce motion and pressure pain, Hold relax can increase ROM and reduce pain.
