Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh hasil cetak 3D printing bentuk geometris yang berbeda dan luas penampangnya terhadap kekasaran objek cetakan 3D menggunakan bahan PLA+. Rancangan jenis bentuk dibuat menggunakan Onshape lalu dislicing pada Ultimaker Cura 5.3.0. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat sampel dengan berbagai bentuk: segitiga, balok, dan lingkaran. Bentuk balok dibagi menjadi tiga variasi luas penampang: 1400 〖mm〗^2, 4000 〖mm〗^2 dan 7200 〖mm〗^2. Parameter yang digunakan pada jenis bentuk dengan nozzle temperature 200°C dan Print Speed 100 mm/s dan temperature bed yang digunakan 60°C dengan mengunakan enam jenis infill patern : Concentric, Line, Grid, Cubic, Zigzag, dan Quartet Cubic. Hasil cetak diukur menggunakan jangka sorong digital dengan ketelitian dua angka dibelakang koma, sedangkan mengukur kekasaran diukur menggunakan Surface Roughness Tester SJ-301. Pengukuran ketelitian luas penampang diketahui bahwa bentuk lingkaran memiliki tingkat ketelitian paling rendah dengan nilai penyimpangan sebesar 2.10%, diikuti oleh bentuk segitiga dan balok dengan nilai simpangan masing-masing sebesar 1.55% dan 1,14%. Namun, bentuk segitiga menunjukkan nilai kekasaran paling rendah di antara bentuk lainnya, berukuran 1,75µm. Penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan luas penampang cenderung menghasilkan permukaan akhir yang lebih kasar. / This research aims to investigate the influence of different geometric shapes and cross-sectional areas in 3D printing on the surface roughness of PLA+ material. The design of various shapes was created using Onshape and then sliced using Ultimaker Cura 5.3.0. The study involved creating samples with different shapes, namely triangles, cubes, and circles. The cube shape was further divided into three variations of cross-sectional areas: 1400 〖mm〗^2, 4000 〖mm〗^2, and 7200 〖mm〗^2. Parameters for the different shapes included a nozzle temperature of 200°C, a print speed of 100 mm/s, and a bed temperature of 60°C. Six types of infill patterns were used: Concentric, Line, Grid, Cubic, Zigzag, and Quartet Cubic.The printed results were measured using a digital caliper with two decimal precision, while surface roughness was measured using the SJ-301 Surface Roughness Tester. Precision measurements of cross-sectional areas revealed that the circular shape exhibited the lowest precision level with a deviation of 2.10%, followed by the triangle and cube shapes with deviations of 1.55% and 1.14%, respectively. However, the triangle shape demonstrated the lowest roughness value among the shapes, measuring 1.75µm. The research also indicated that an increase in cross-sectional area tended to result in a rougher final surface.
