Abstract

Pembelajaran di Fakultas Kedokteran sering kali intens dan membutuhkan penyelesaian tugas secara bersamaan, yang dapat menyebabkan stres, kecemasan, dan bahkan depresi pada mahasiswa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak penerapan metode pembelajaran terhadap tingkat stres, kecemasan, dan depresi pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desain deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Instrumen penelitian: Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) 42. Sampel yang diambil untuk penelitian ini mencakup 161 mahasiswa yang terdaftar pada tahun 2022 di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling, di mana responden diminta untuk secara sukarela berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini.Hasil penelitian tingkat stres mahasiswa mayoritas normal (53,42%), tingkat depresi mahasiswa pada tingkat normal (52,79%), tingkat kecemassan pada mahasiswa tingkat normal (30,43%). Dari hasil penelitian juga didapatkan 6 mahasiswa (3,72%) memiliki tingkat stres yang berat, 16 mahasiswa (9,94%) memiliki tingkat depresi berat, dan 33 mahasiswa (20,49%) memiliki tingkat kecemasan berat. Hampir setengah dari jumlah keseluruhan mahasiswa mengalami stres dan depresi, hasil bivariat menunjukan adanya hubungan pembelajaran di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia dengan tingkat stres mahasiswa. Dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan yang menunjukkan lebih dari setengah mahasiswa yang mengalami kecemasan dalam pembelajaran yang dialami oleh angkatan 2022 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia. / Learning in the Faculty of Medicine is often intense and requires simultaneous completion of tasks, which can lead to stress, anxiety, and even depression among students. The research aims to evaluate the impact of teaching methods on the levels of stress, anxiety, and depression in students. This study utilizes a descriptive correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The research instrument used is the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) 42. The sample consists of 161 students enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Kristen Indonesia in 2022. The data collection method employed is accidental sampling, where respondents are requested to voluntarily participate in the study. The research findings indicate that the majority of students have normal levels of stress (53.42%), normal levels of depression (52.79%), and normal levels of anxiety (30.43%). However, the study also reveals that 6 students (3.72%) experience severe stress, 16 students (9.94%) experience severe depression, and 33 students (20.49%) experience severe anxiety. Nearly half of the total number of students experience stress and depression. The bivariate analysis shows a correlation between learning in the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Kristen Indonesia, and students' stress levels. There is a significant relationship indicating that more than half of the students experience anxiety in their learning within the 2022 cohort of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Kristen Indonesia.
