Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan kebijakan penanggulangan Covid-19 di kelurahan Cawang Jakarta Timur pada periode 2020-2021. Sejak munculnya Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19), telah menimbulkan berbagai kekhawatiran terutama di kalangan masyarakat. Virus SARS-CoV-2 pertama kali terdeteksi di China pada akhir 2019 dan pada bulan Juni 2021, telah menyebar ke seluruh dunia, menyebabkan lebih dari 178 juta kasus yang dikonfirmasi dan 3,9 juta kematian. Penularan Infeksi Coronavirus (COVID-19) dapat melalui percikan air liur dari penderita (melalui batuk dan bersin) dan juga melalui kontak langsung dengan tangan atau wajah orang yang terinfeksi. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan pendekatan Teori Implementasi Kebijakan Publik oleh George C. Edward III. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, peneliti akan menganalisis secara deskriptif dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung serta mengungkap kejadian, fakta, fenomena, variabel keadaan yang terjadi selama penelitian, serta melakukan wawancara mendalam dan pengumpulan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peran yang dimainkan oleh Pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan Covid-19. / This research aims to depict the implementation of Covid-19 mitigation policies in Cawang Subdistrict, East Jakarta, during the period of 2020-2021. Since the emergence of the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19), various concerns have arisen, especially among the public. The SARS-CoV-2 virus was first detected in China at the end of 2019, and by June 2021, it had spread worldwide, causing more than 178 million confirmed cases and 3.9 million deaths. The transmission of Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19) can occur through saliva droplets from patients (through coughing and sneezing) and also through direct contact with the hands or faces of infected individuals. In this research, the Policy Implementation Theory by George C. Edward III is utilized. Employing a qualitative approach, the researcher will conduct descriptive analysis through direct observation to uncover occurrences, facts, phenomena, and state variables during the study, as well as conducting in-depth interviews and collecting documentation. The findings of this research indicate the roles played by the Government and the community in Covid-19 prevention and management.
