Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa EFL tentang penulisan kolaboratif online untuk mengembangkan kinerja menulis paragraf naratif di SMAN 62 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain dengan penelitian survei. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada siswa kelas XI MIPA 3 dan XI IPS 3 SMAN 62 Jakarta pada bulan April 2023. Kuesioner tersebut terdiri dari 43 soal yang dibagikan secara online menggunakan Google Forms, dan 64 siswa yang mengisi kuesioner tersebut. Data menunjukkan bahwa siswa SMAN 62 Jakarta memiliki persepsi yang baik dan positif tentang penulisan kolaboratif online untuk mengembangkan kinerja menulis paragraf naratif, dilihat dari rata-rata nilai persepsi yaitu 80% dengan kriteria baik, meliputi empat indikator; kepentingan, dampak, tantangan, dan hasil. Secara holistik, persepsi siswa dapat dirinci menjadi 2% sangat tidak setuju, 6% tidak setuju, 61% setuju, dan 31% sangat setuju. Artinya, penulisan kolaboratif online dapat diterapkan oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis. Kata kunci: Penulisan kolaboratif online, paragraph naratif, siswa EFL. / This study aims to determine EFL students' perceptions of online collaborative writing to develop narrative paragraph performance at SMAN 62 Jakarta. This study used a quantitative research method with a survey research design. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to students of XI MIPA 3 and XI IPS 3 at SMAN 62 Jakarta in April, 2023. The questionnaire comprised 43 items distributed online using Google Forms. There are 64 students completed the questionnaire. The data showed that the students of SMAN 62 Jakarta had good and positive perception about online collaborative writing to develop narrative pharagraph writing performance, seen from the mean score of the perception, which is 80% [good]. The perceptions covered the students’ interests, impacts, challenges, and outcomes. Holistically, the student agreement could be specified as 2% strongly disagreed, 6% disagreed, 61% agreed, and 31% strongly agreed. It means that online collaborative writing can became a promising way to help the students developing their English skills. Keywords: Online collaborative writing, narrative paragraph, EFL students
