Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan perancangan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) On-Grid, pada gedung Fakultas Teknik Universitas Kristen Indonesia (FT UKI). Dalam menganalisis perancangan ini, baik dari sisi teknik maupun sisi ekonomi serta menentukan Break Event Point (BEP) digunakan alat bantu aplikasi HOMER. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, yang mencakup pengumpulan, analisis dan penyajian data dalam bentuk angka. Setelah melakukan simulasi HOMER. PLTS terdiri dari 407 panel surya dengan total kapasitas daya keseluruhan adalah 150,890 Wp (watt peak), serta inverter sebanyak 16 unit dengan total kapasitas keseluruhan yaitu 160 kW (kilowatt), dan total biaya seluruh komponen adalah Rp. 1.245.305.649,95. Dalam segi ekonomi, penghematan biaya dari nilai Net Present Cost (NPC) pada perancangan ini adalah sebesar Rp. 830.000.000, menghemat biaya Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) sebesar Rp. 227,87/kWh (kilowatt hour), serta menghemat biaya Operation & Maintenance (O&M) sebesar Rp. 142.000.000. Dari hasil kajian ini, diperoleh nilai BEP sekitar 7,27 tahun dengan total pengurangan karbon dioksida yang dapat dikurangi sebesar 129,185 kg CO2. Kata Kunci : PLTS, HOMER, On-Grid, NPC, LCOE, BEP. / This research is the design of an On-Grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS), at the Faculty of Engineering building of Universitas Kristen Indonesia (FT UKI). In analysing this design, both from the technical and economic sides and determining the Break Event Point (BEP), the HOMER application tool is used. This research uses a quantitative approach, which includes collecting, analysing and presenting data in the form of numbers. After doing the HOMER simulation. PLTS consists of 407 solar panels with a total overall power capacity of 150,890 Wp (watt peak), as well as 16 units of inverters with a total overall capacity of 160 kW (kilowatt), and the total cost of all components is Rp. 1,245,305,649.95. In terms of economics, the cost savings from the Net Present Cost (NPC) value of this design is Rp. 830,000,000, saving the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) cost of Rp. 227.87/kWh (kilowatt hour), and saving Operation & Maintenance (O&M) costs of Rp. 142,000,000. From the results of this study, a BEP value of around 7.27 years was obtained with a total carbon dioxide reduction of 129,185 kg CO2. Keywords: PLTS, HOMER, On-Grid, NPC, LCOE, BEP
