Abstract
ABSTRAK Kompetensi profesional sangat penting untuk dikuasai guru karena membuat guru dapat menghasilkan pembelajaran yang interaktif, menarik, dan sesuai dengan perkembangan siswa. Guru yag memiliki efikasi diri tinggi akan lebih bersedia menerima perubahan dalam sistem pendidikan, optimis, dan percaya pada kemampuan dirinya dan mendorong untuk selalu mengembangkan kompetensi profesionalnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan efikasi diri terhadap peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru di Sekolah Tarakanita Pluit Jakarta Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua tenaga pendidik dari unit TK-SMA yang berjumlah 104 guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi pengaruh sebesar 12,7% dari kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi profesional guru apabila dikontrol oleh efikasi diri guru, juga terjadi pengaruh sebesar 55.5% dari efikasi diri terhadap kompetensi profesional guru apabila dikontrol oleh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin kepemimpinan kepala sekolah ditingkatkan, kompetensi profesional guru pun semakin meningkat demikian juga dengan efikasi diri bila ditingkatkan maka kompetensi profesional semakin meningkat. Apabila pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan efikasi diri digabungkan bersama- sama, maka diperoleh regresi sebesar 0.686 terhadap kompetensi profesional guru. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan efikasi diri secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru. Kata Kunci :Kompetensi Profesional Guru, Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Efikasi Diri Guru. / ABSTRACT Professional competence is very important for teachers to master because it allows teachers to produce activities that are interactive, interesting, and in accordance with student development. Teachers who have high self-efficacy will be more willing to accept changes in the education system, are optimistic, and believe in their abilities and encourage them to always develop their professional competence. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method with the aim of knowing the influence of the principal's leadership and self-efficacy on increasing the professional competence of teachers at Tarakanita Pluit School, North Jakarta. The population in this study were all educators from the KG-SH units, totaling 104 teachers. The results showed that there was an effect of 12.7% of the principal's leadership on teacher professional competence when controlled by teacher self-efficacy, there was also an effect of 55.5% of self-efficacy on teacher’s professional competence when controlled by school principal’s leadership. This shows that the more the principal's leadership is improved, the more professional competence of teachers are increased as well as self-efficacy when it is increased, the professional competence are also increased. If the influenceof the principal's leadership and self-efficacy are combined together, a regression of 0.686 is obtained on the teacher's professional competence. Research shows thatprincipal’s leadership along with self-efficacy have a very significant influence onimproving teacher professional competence.
