Abstract

Sikap yaitu respon maupun reaksi seseorang tentang suatu objek yang kemudian menghasilkan perilaku tertentu terhadap objek tersebut. Istilah ‘pengetahuan’ terdiri dari awalan ‘tahu’ serta berimbuhan ‘pe-an’ yang berarti segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan proses mengetahui atau tahu. Antibiotik dipakai untuk mengobati infeksi bakteri. Tidak tepatnya penggunaan antibiotik dapat menyebabkan timbulnya masalah pada kesehatan dan menyebabkan ancaman global dibidang kesehatan khususnya resistensi bakteri akan antibiotik. Saat ini kejadian penggunaan antibiotik sudah menjadi kejadian yang tidak asing ditemui oleh masyarakat dimana penggunaan antibiotik pada masyarakat seringkali dilakukan tanpa memperhatikan sepenuhnya aturan layaknya memakai obat- obatan bebas. Masyarakat memakai antibiotik sebagai pengobatan sendiri tidak menggunakan resep dokter dan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan akan antibiotik tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kantor RW 031 Kelurahan Bojong Rawalumbu Kecamatan Rawalumbu Kota Bekasi bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap dan tingkat pengetahuan penggunaan antibiotik pada masyarakat di RW 031 Kelurahan Bojong Rawalumbu Kecamatan Rawalumbu Kota Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian analitik yang besifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 137 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada masyarakat di RW 031 Kelurahan Bojong Rawalumbu Kecamatan Rawalumbu Kota Bekasi. Hasil yang didapatkan Masyarakat RW 031 Kelurahan Bojong Rawalumbu Kecamatan Rawalumbu Kota Bekasi mempunyai sikap tidak baik sebanyak 79 orang (57,7%) dan mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan buruk sebanyak 88 orang (64,2%). Berdasarkan data demografi mayoritas responden berusia 56 - 65 tahun sebanyak 41 orang (29,9%), responden terbanyak dalam penelitian ini adalah perempuan sebanyak 74 orang (54%), responden terbanyak dengan tingkat pendidikan Diploma/Sarjana sebanyak 72 orang (52,6%), responden terbanyak dengan pekerjaan karyawan swasta yaitu sebanyak 43 orang (31,4%), serta suku tebanyak adalah suku Jawa sebanyak 109 orang (79,6%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Masyarakat RW 031 Kelurahan Bojong Rawalumbu Kecamatan Rawalumbu Kota Bekasi memiliki sikap yang tidak baik dan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan buruk. Kata kunci: Sikap, Pengetahuan, Antibiotik. / Attitude is the response or reaction of an individual towards an object, which then results in specific behavior towards that object. The term 'knowledge' consists of the prefix 'know' and the suffix 'ledge,' which means everything related to the process of knowing or being aware. Antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections. However, improper use of antibiotics can lead to health problems and pose a global threat in the field of health, especially antibiotic resistance. Currently, the use of antibiotics has become a common occurrence in society, often done without fully adhering to regulations, similar to the use of over-the- counter medications. People use antibiotics for self-medication without a doctor's prescription and knowledge about their use. This research was conducted in the office of RW 031, Bojong Rawalumbu Village, Rawalumbu Subdistrict, Bekasi City, with the aim of understanding the attitudes and knowledge levels of antibiotic use in the community in RW 031, Bojong Rawalumbu Village, Rawalumbu Subdistrict, Bekasi City. The research method used is analytical- descriptive research with a cross-sectional design. The research sample consists of 137 people. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires distributed to the community in RW 031, Bojong Rawalumbu Village, Rawalumbu Subdistrict, Bekasi City. The results obtained indicate that the community in RW 031, Bojong Rawalumbu Village, Rawalumbu Subdistrict, Bekasi City, has a negative attitude in 79 people (57.7%) and a low level of knowledge in 88 people (64.2%). Based on demographic data, the majority of respondents are aged 56-65 years, totaling 41 people (29.9%). The majority of respondents in this study are female, totaling 74 people (54%). The majority of respondents with a Diploma/Bachelor's degree are 72 people (52.6%), the majority of respondents with a private employee occupation are 43 people (31.4%), and the majority ethnic group is Javanese, totaling 109 people (79.6%). In conclusion, the research finds that the level of knowledge of the community in RW 031, Bojong Rawalumbu Village, Rawalumbu Subdistrict, Bekasi City, has a negative attitude and a low level of knowledge.
