Abstract

Kota Ambon Merupakan Jantung Provinsi Maluku untuk kegiatan-kegiatan nasional yang memiliki pertumbuhan dan pembangunan yang meningkat akibat terjadinya urbanisasi penduduk dan perubahan lingkungan, dalam rangka mendukung hal tersebut maka perlu direncanakan pembangunan konsep Ambon Waterfront City, dimana salah satunya adalah membangun Taman kota yaitu taman wainitu. Fungsi taman kota itu sendiri adalah sebagai tempat menghabiskan waktu luang, maupun rekreasi akibat penatnya aktivitas perkotaan. Taman kota selain fungsinya sebagai taman kota fungsinya itu sendiri sebagai fasilitas dalam menunjang RTH / Ruang Terbuka Hijau. Taman kota wainitu sendiri merupakan Taman Kota pada daerah reklamasi pantai wainitu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini agar dapat mengetahui bagaimana kebijakan-kebijakan dalam pemanfaatan ruang publik dalam mewujudkan Ambon Waterfront City, serta mengetahui kajian revitalisasi taman kota wainitu pada penulisan ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dapat menghasilkan data deskriptif yang diperoleh dari kajian literatur, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara berbagai informasi . Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan agar memahami konsep pembangunan Waterfront City, dan mengkaji karakteristik ruang Terbuka Hijau pada taman kota wainitu untuk menuju Ambon Water Front City. Kata kunci : Ruang Terbuka Hijau, Taman Kota, Waterfront City. / Ambon City is the heart of Maluku Province for national activities that have increased growth and development due to population urbanization and environmental changes, in order to support this, it is necessary to plan the development of the Ambon Waterfront City concept, where one of them is to build a city park, namely Wainitu Park. The function of the city park itself is as a place to spend leisure time, as well as recreation due to the fatigue of urban activities. Besides its function as a city park, the function itself is as.in supporting RTH / Green Open Space. The wainitu city park itself is a city park in the wainitu beach reclamation area. The purpose of this research is to find out how policies in the use of public space in realizing Ambon Waterfront City, as well as knowing the revitalization study of the wainitu city park in this writing the author uses a qualitative method that can produce descriptive data obtained from literature review, field observations, and interviews of various information. The results of this study are expected to understand the concept of Waterfront City development, and examine the characteristics of Green Open space in the wainitu city park towards Ambon Water Front City.
