Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan utama untuk menyelidiki dan mengevaluasi performa bangunan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Salemba, dengan fokus khusus pada efisiensi energi dan pemanfaatan ruang. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengadopsi metode survei lapangan guna menilai sejauh mana bangunan ini memenuhi standar efisiensi energi dan optimalisasi pemanfaatan ruang. Metode penelitian melibatkan pemantauan konsumsi energi di seluruh fasilitas untuk mengukur efisiensi penggunaan energi bangunan. Identifikasi sumber daya energi utama juga dilakukan untuk memahami pola konsumsi energi seiring waktu. Selanjutnya, analisis ruang dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi cara ruang di dalam lembaga pemasyarakatan dimanfaatkan, dengan fokus pada potensi perbaikan atau peningkatan efisiensi. Data yang dikumpulkan dari survei lapangan dan pemantauan energi akan dianalisis secara menyeluruh. Hal ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat efisiensi energi bangunan dan mengidentifikasi area-area yang memiliki potensi perbaikan. Temuan penelitian diharapkan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang building performance, khususnya dalam konteks efisiensi energi dan pemanfaatan ruang di lingkungan lapas. Hasil penelitian ini akan digunakan sebagai dasar untuk mengusulkan rekomendasi perbaikan atau strategi optimalisasi. Rekomendasi ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan lingkungan, mengurangi biaya operasional, dan meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan hidup secara keseluruhan bagi penghuni dan staf Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Salemba. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pemahaman kita tentang building performance lembaga pemasyarakatan (lapas) dalam aspek efisiensi energi dan pemanfaatan ruang. Temuan dan rekomendasi dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan berharga bagi pihak terkait dalam upaya meningkatkan kondisi bangunan lapas secara holistik. Kata kunci: Building Performance, Efisiensi Energi, Pemanfaatan Ruang, Lembaga Pemasyarakatan, Lapas. / This research has the main objective of investigating and evaluating the performance of the Class IIA Salemba Correctional Institution building, with a special focus on energy efficiency and space utilization. To achieve this goal, this research adopts a field survey method to assess the extent to which this building meets energy efficiency standards and optimizes space utilization. The research method involves monitoring energy consumption throughout the facility to measure the efficiency of the building's energy use. Identification of key energy resources is also carried out to understand energy consumption patterns over time. Next, a space analysis is carried out to evaluate how space within the correctional institution is utilized, with a focus on potential improvements or increased efficiency. Data collected from field surveys and energy monitoring will be thoroughly analyzed. This aims to determine the level of energy efficiency of the building and identify areas that have potential for improvement. The research findings are expected to provide a better understanding of building performance, particularly in the context of energy efficiency and space utilization in prison environments. The results of this research will be used as a basis for proposing recommendations for improvement or optimization strategies. These recommendations are designed to increase environmental sustainability, reduce operational costs, and improve the overall quality of the living environment for the residents and staff of the Class IIA Salemba Penitentiary. In conclusion hoped that this research can make a significant contribution to our understanding of the building performance of correctional institutions (prisons) in the aspects of energy efficiency and space utilization. The findings and recommendations from this research can be a valuable guide for related parties in efforts to holistically improve the condition of prison buildings.
