Abstract
Prosedur hukum yang disebut Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang (PKPU) dibuat untuk melindungi debitor yang ada yang menghadapi kesulitan keuangan yang serius. Dalam PKPU, debitor dapat mengajukan permohonan kepada Pengadilan Niaga untuk memperoleh penundaan kewajiban pembayaran utang kepada para kreditor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran debitor dalam mengajukan permohonan PKPU dan mendapatkan perlindungan hukum dari penghimpunan kekayaan dan penyelesaian utang-utang debitor. / A legal procedure called the Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) was created to safeguard debtors facing serious financial difficulties. In PKPU, debtors can apply to the Commercial Court to obtain a delay in debt payment obligations to creditors. This study aims to explain the role of debtors in applying for PKPU and obtaining legal protection from the accumulation of wealth and the settlement of debtors' debts.
