Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana efektifitas kepemimpinan gereja dalam membimbing pelayan gereja, bagaimana pengaruh kepemimpinan gereja dalam memperbaiki penatalayanan yang lebih baik serta bagaimana peran kepemimpinan gereja dalam membimbing pelayan gereja. Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab menurunnya efektivitas pelayanan yang terjadi, baik internal maupun eksternal, untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pemahaman kepemimpinan dimiliki oleh para pelayan serta untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pembimbingan dilakukan bagi para pelayan gereja di jemaat GPI Papua Bethlehem sorong. Metodologi yang digunakan peneliti adalah Metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskritif karena peneliti ingin mendeskripsikan keadaan yang akan diamatidi lapangan dengan lebih spesifik, transparan, dan mendalam, serta untuk mengetahui sejauhmana efektifitas kepemimpinan gereja dalam membimbing para pelayan gereja di jemaatGPI Papua Bethlehem Kota Sorong. Kurangnya kerjasama yang dibangun oleh pendeta dengan penatua, diaken serta pengurus lainnya, dan juga pelayanan pastoral / kunjungan tidak terlaksana dengan baik, kurangnya keterlibatan pendeta di setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh jemaat. Pembimbingan yang dibatasi membuat para pelayan kekurangan pengetahuan terkait kepemimpinan dan juga pelayanan, akibatknya setiap tugas pelayanan yang dilaksanakan belum mampu menjawab kebutuhan pelayanan secara internal maupun eksternal. Pendeta / pimpinan jemaat harus berusaha untuk menjaga dan membangun komunikasi dengan seluruh perangkat pelayan yang ada dijemaat Pembimbingan harus di lakukan untuk memperkaya wawasan dan cara berpikir dan bertindak seorang pelayan dalam menjalankan tugasnya akibat dari keterbatasan pengetahuan dan tidak dilaksanakannya pembimbingan sangat berdampak pada penyajian pelayanan yang dilakukan Kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan , Efektivitas, Pelayan, Pembimbingan, Kerjasama. / In this study, researchers wanted to find out how the effectiveness of church leadership in guiding church ministers, how the influence of church leadership in improving better stewardship and what is the role of church leadership in guiding church servants. To find out the factors that cause the decline in the effectiveness of services that occur, both internally and externally, to find out how far the understanding of leadership is owned by the servants and to find out the extent to which mentoring is carried out for church servants in the GPI Papua Bethlehem Sorong congregation. The methodology used by the researcher is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach because the researcher wants to describe the conditions that will be observed in the field in a more specific, transparent and in-depth manner, and to find out how effective church leadership is in guiding church ministers in the GPI Papua Bethlehem congregation, Sorong City. Lack of cooperation built by pastors with elders, deacons and other administrators, and also pastoral services / visits are not carried out properly, lack of involvement of pastors in every activity carried out by the congregation. Limited guidance makes the servants lack knowledge related to leadership and service, as a result every service task carried out has not been able to answer service needs internally and externally. Pastors / church leaders must try to maintain and build communication with all the servants in the congregation. Guidance must be done to enrich the insight and way of thinking and acting of a servant in carrying out his duties as a result of limited knowledge and no guidance is carried out which greatly impacts the presentation of services carried out Keywords: Leadership, Effectiveness, Servants, Guidance, Cooperation
