Abstract

Keaktifan berorganisasi adalah bentuk kesibukan mahasiswa dalam perannya aktif dan ikut serta dalam organisasi sesuai dengan tujuan yang dibentuk organisasi tersebut sembari memberi perubahan tingkah laku yang positif. Keaktifan berorganisasi memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar, kemampuan mengatur waktu yang baik, meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi, kreativitas, inovatif, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan kemahasiswaan dan mencari hubungannya dengan nilai indeks prestasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan berupa komparatif yang termasuk dalam golongan expost facto dan analisis deskriptif, Sampel dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok keaktifan yakni aktif, cukup, dan tidak aktif. Hasil yang didapat yakni sebanyak 75,60% mahasiswa masuk dalam ketegori keaktifan berorganisasi cukup. Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa bidang nalar dan keilmuan memiliki partisipan yang lebih banyak (72,43%). Data diuji menggunakan chi-square dan didapat hasilnya nilai sig. (2-sided) > 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara keaktifan dalam kegiatan kemahasiswaan dengan nilai indeks prestasi. Kata kunci: Keaktifan berorganisasi, Indeks prestasi. / The activeness in organization is defined as a form of participation of students to take part and actively contribute in the organization to achieve the purpose that organization’s purpose(s) while giving a participator a good attitude. The activeness in organization have reportedly good effects on student’s grade point average (GPA), good time management, creativity, innovative, and their critical thinking. The purpose of this research is to make profile of students who contributed in organizations and finding their correlation to their GPA. The method in this research is comparative expost facto and descriptive analyze. Sample is divided into three groups according to their activeness in the organizations, they are active, suffice, and inactive. The result shown that 75,60% subjects fall into suffice category. And most participants (72,43%) join into logical and science related organization. To find the correlation, chi-square technique is being used and as a result, sig. (2-sided) > 0,05 therefore, there are no correlation between activeness in organizations and GPA in students. Keywords: Activeness in organizations, Grade Point Average
