Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan energi dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan mendorong pengembangan sumber energi terbarukan, seperti tenaga surya, sebagai alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan dan menganalisis pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) sistem off-grid untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi listrik pada Kopi Kapal Api UKI. Studi ini menggunakan metode perencanaan dengan menggunakan software HOMER, yang memungkinkan perancang sistem untuk mengoptimalkan desain dan ukuran sistem PLTS. Awalnya, data kebutuhan listrik pada Kopi Kapal Api UKI dikumpulkan melalui survei dan pengukuran langsung. Selanjutnya, karakteristik sinar matahari di lokasi yang diteliti untuk memperoleh data insiden sinar matahari yang akurat. Berdasarkan data kebutuhan listrik dan karakteristik sinar matahari, langkah-langkah perencanaan diimplementasikan dengan bantuan software HOMER. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan energi listrik kWh perhari di Kopi Hipmi Kapal Api UKI sebesar 63 kWh. Dan kapasitas energi listrik yang dihasilkan PLTS sistem off-grid per tahun pada Kopi Hipmi Kapal Api UKI sebesar 83.878 kWh. Ditinjau dari sisi ekonomi, nilai LCOE atau harga energi listrik per kWh yang dihasilkan PLTS off-grid sebesar Rp.6.615,41 per kWh lebih mahal bila dibandingkan dengan tarif listrik PLN, sehingga dinilai tidak layak secara ekonomis. Namun bila ditinjau dari sisi energi listrik yang dihasilkan PLTS off-grid per tahun sebesar 83.878 kWh (100%), melebihi energi listrik yang dikonsumsi per tahun sebesar 22.979 kWh, yang dinilai layak berdasarkan sisi energi listrik yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan PLTS sistem off-grid yang dirancang, dengan nilai NPC sebesar Rp.1,965,203,000.00, dan BEP selama 6 bulan. Namun, nilai LCOE atau harga energi listrik PLTS sebesar Rp.6.615.41 per kWh dinilai tidak layak secara ekonomis. Kata Kunci: PLTS, Sistem Off-Grid, HOMER, Energi listrik, Kopi Kapal Api UKI. / The increasing demand for energy and concern for the environment have encouraged the development of renewable energy sources, such as solar power, as an alternative to meeting electricity needs. This thesis aims to plan and analyze an off-grid solar power plant (PLTS) system to meet the electricity needs of UKI Kopi Kapal Api. This study uses a planning method using HOMER software, which allows the system designer to optimize the design and size of the PV mini-grid system. Initially, electricity demand data for UKI Kapal Api Coffee were collected through surveys and direct measurements. Furthermore, the characteristics of sunlight at the location studied to obtain accurate sunlight incident data. Based on the electricity demand data and sunlight characteristics, the planning steps are implemented with the help of HOMER software. Based on the simulation results, it shows that the need for electrical energy in kWh per day at Kopi Hipmi Kapal Api UKI is 63 kWh. And the capacity of electrical energy produced by the off-grid PLTS system per year at Kopi Hipmi Kapal Api UKI is 83,878 kWh. From an economic point of view, the LCOE value or the price of electrical energy per kWh produced by off-grid PLTS is IDR 6,615.41 per kWh which is more expensive than the PLN electricity rate, so it is considered economically unfeasible. However, when viewed from the point of view of the electrical energy generated by the off-grid PLTS per year of 83,878 kWh (100%), it exceeds the electrical energy consumed per year of 22,979 kWh, which is considered feasible based on the electrical energy generated. Based on the designed off-grid PLTS system, with an NPC value of IDR 1,965,203,000.00, and BEP for 6 months.
