Abstract

Komunikasi adalah sistem bertukar informasi yang bukan lagi melalui televisi ataupun berita koran saja, namun munculnya dunia internet memudahkan penggunanya untuk bertukar informasi dengan cepat. Di masa pandemi COVID- 19 saat ini berbagai kegiatan di luar rumah menjadi terhambat terutama sekolah. Dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi kini kegiatan belajar mengajar dilakukaan secara online atau daring. Hal inilah memicu adanya komunikasi virtual. Dalam dunia digital adanya komunikasi virtual membuat kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi lebih mudah sehingga siswa tetap dapat melaksanakan kegiatan belajar secara jarak jauh tanpa menghambat proses belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Komunikasi Virtual Terhadap Kualitas Pembelajaran Anak Sekolah Di Masa Pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMA Mardi Waluya Cibinong kelas X dan XII. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden. Penelitian ini memilih komunikasi virtual sebagai variabel independen dan kualitas pembelajaran sebagai variabel dependen. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya pengaruh dari variabel komunikasi virtual kualitas pembelajaran. Kata kunci: pengaruh, komunikasi virtual, kualitas pembelajaran. / Communication is a system of exchanging information that is no longer through television or newspaper news, but the emergence of the internet world makes it easier for users to exchange information quickly. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, various activities outside the home have become hampered, especially in schools. With the advancement of technology, teaching and learning activities are now carried out online or online. This triggers virtual communication. Virtual communication makes teaching and learning activities easier in the digital world so that students can still carry out learning activities remotely without hindering the learning process. This study aimed to determine the effect of virtual communication on the quality of learning for school children during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and uses a probability sampling technique. The population in this study was students of Mardi Waluya SHS Cibinong class X and XII. The number of samples used in this study was 100 respondents. This study chose virtual communication as the independent variable and the quality of learning as the dependent variable. The result of this study is the influence of the virtual communication variable on the quality of learning. Keywords: influence, virtual communication, learning quality
