Abstract
Kebutuhan akan energi listrik terus meningkat sejalan dengan jumlah penduduk yang meningkat setiap tahunnya di Indonesia. Penggunaan energi listrik untuk rumah tangga merupakan terbesar kedua setelah sektor Industri. Pemasangan PLTS pada atap rumah tinggal sangat berperan guna menekan penggunaan energi listrik yang penggunaan nya masih bergantung pada energi fosil. Sehingga perlu adanya suatu pengukuran pengaruh sudut atap rumah tinggal terhadap efisiensi panel surya. Beberapa penelitian hanya merekomendasikan sudut yang tepat untuk menghasilkan daya yang maksimal pada panel surya, tidak mengukur sudut yang terpasang seperti pada atap rumah tinggal. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya dalam pengukuran efisinsi panel surya dilakukan secara manual. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan sebuah mikrokontroler sebagai pengolah data, pembacaan sensor berupa tegangan, arus, daya dan intensitas cahaya dari kedua jenis panel surya (20 WP). Penyajian datanya dilakukan melalui komunikasi IOT dan di simpan di googlesheet. Pengambilan data dilakukan rata-rata setiap menit dan diambil rata-rata setiap 15 menit sekali, sehingga pembacaannya lebih akurat dibandingkan dengan pencatatan secara manual pada pengukuran efisiensi sebelumnya. Hasil pengukuran selama sepuluh hari secara acak dalam satu bulan menghasilkan bahwa Jenis atap limas (sudut 350) mempunyai rata -rata efisiensi sebesar 61.17% lebih besar dibandingkan atap datar sebesar 56.89%. Walaupun selisihnya kecil tetapi berpengaruh sekali jika pemasangan panel surya menggunakan kapasitas yang besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan kapasitas 20WP. Kata Kunci : Efisiensi, Atap rumah, Panel surya,Intensitas cahaya, Daya, IOT. / The need for electrical energy continues to increase in line with the increasing population in Indonesia every year. The use of electrical energy for households is the second largest after the industrial sector. Installing PLTS on the roof of a residential house plays a very important role in reducing the use of electrical energy, whose use still depends on fossil energy. So it is necessary to measure the effect of the angle of the residential roof on the efficiency of solar panels. Some studies only recommend the right angle to produce maximum power on solar panels, not measuring the angle that is installed like on the roof of a residential house. Several previous studies in measuring the efficiency of solar panels were done manually. In this study using a microcontroller as a data processor, sensor readings are in the form of voltage, current, power and light intensity from both types of solar panels (20 WP). The presentation of the data is done through IOT communication and stored in Google Sheets. Data collection is done on average every minute and is taken on average once every 15 minutes, so that the reading is more accurate compared to manually recording the previous efficiency measurement. The measurement results for ten random days in one month show that the type of pyramid roof (angle 350) has an average efficiency of 61.17% greater than a flat roof of 56.89%. Even though the difference is small, it is very influential if the installation of solar panels uses a large capacity. This study uses a capacity of 20WP.
