Abstract
Penelitian ini meneliti relasi antara karakteristik narsisme Donald Trump dan kebijakan imigrasi Amerika Serikat terhadap Meksiko yaitu kebijakan anti imigran gelap asal Meksiko dan zero tolerance. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep keamanan nasional dan konsep narsisme. Data penelitian berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari artikel jurnal, buku dan media online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik narsisme Donald Trump merupakan salah satu faktor pemicu munculnya kebijakan anti imigran gelap dan zero tolerance Amerika Serikat terhadap Meksiko. Dua kebijakan tersebut kemudian menyebabkan ketegangan hubungan diplomatik antara Amerika Serikat dan Meksiko. Keywords: Narsisme, Donald Trump, Imigran Ilegal, Meksiko, Amerika Serikat. / This study investigates the relationship between Donald Trump's narcissistic characteristics and the America’s immigration policy toward Mexico, specifically the anti-illegal immigration and zero tolerance policies. This research will be examined using the concepts of national security and narcism. Secondary research data gathered from journal articles, books, and online media. The findings indicate that Donald Trump's narcissism is one of the factor causing the emergence of the United States' anti-illegal immigrant and zero tolerance policies toward Mexico.
