Abstract

This study discusses the "war" that is being experienced by the South Pacific region against climate change. But of course this is not a war using force, but more about how the pacific region is trying to adapt to nature and trying to increase the severity of climate change and its impacts. Various impacts can be caused by climate change in the South Pacific region. Impact in the economic, social, and ecosystem fields. Where this can already be considered a threat to the existence of this area. The South Pacific region is the area most vulnerable to climate change. This study also analyzes how the "war strategy" developed by the Marshall Islands as a representative of the south pacific region with the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC). This NDC is part of the Paris Agreement where the contents of this NDC are the various efforts that will be made in the Marshall Islands effort to be considered as Green House Gas (GHG) emissions.Kata Kunci : Perang, Climate change,Pasifik Selatan,Marshall Islands, NDC Keywords : War, Climate change, South Pacific, Marshall Islands, NDC
