Abstract

Kejadian stunting atau balita pendek, adalah sebuah masalah kesehatan gizi kronis akibat kekurangan asupan gizi. Provinsi NTT hingga tahun 2019 masih dalam peringkat kejadian stunting tertinggi , yaitu sebesar 43,82%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola pemberian makan terhadap kejadian stunting pada balita di kelurahan Kota Uneng Kabupaten Sikka tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik retropektif. Pengumpulan data dan pelaksanaan penelitian di mulai dari tanggal 20 Desember 2022 – 04 Januari 2023 di Kelurahan Kota Uneng. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 83 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan ialah balita yang mengalami stunting adalah 83 balita dengan kategori pendek sebanyak 54 balita (65,1%) dan sangat pendek 29 balita (34,9%. Balita dengn kondisi stunting pendek memiliki pola pemberian makan yang sesuai atau tepat. Nilai korelasi p-value dengan uji Chi-Square pada pola pemberian makan terhadap kejadian stunting yaitu sebesar 0,036, nilai ini lebih ˂ 0,05. Oleh sebab itu, nilai ini dapat diartikan bahwa antara pola pemberian makan terhadap kejadian stunting pada balita di Kelurahan Kota Uneng,Kabupaten Sikka Tahun 2022 memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Kata Kunci : Pola, Makan, Stunting, Balita, Analitik, Retospektif. / The incidence of stunting or short toddlers, is a chronic nutritional health problem due to lack of nutritional intake. The province of NTT until 2019 is still in the highest ranking of stunting events, namely 43.82%. This study aims to determined the effect of feeding patterns on the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the Uneng City sub-district, Sikka Regency in 2022. This type of research was retrospective analysis. Data collection and research implementation started from 20 December 2022 – 04 January 2023 in Uneng City Village. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The research sample was 83 respondents. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results of the study were 83 toddlers who experienced stunting with a short category of 54 toddlers (65.1%) and very short 29 toddlers (34.9%). Toddlers with short stunting conditions had an appropriate or appropriate feeding pattern. the correlation of the p-value with the Chi-Square test on the pattern of feeding on the incidence of stunting is equal to 0.036, this value is more than ˂ 0.05. This value can be interpreted that between the pattern of feeding and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Uneng City Village, Sikka Regency in 2022 has a significant relationship.
