Abstract
Seiring dengan kebangkitan Tiongkok di sektor ekonomi dan militer yang signifikan, Tiongkok juga telah mengubah arah dan tujuan kebijakan luar negerinya semakin agresif dan bersikap proaktif. Keuntungan dan momentum tersebut dimanfaatkan Beijing dalam mendulang dominasi untuk menjadi negara adidaya di dunia. Untuk mencapai ambisi tersebut, di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden Xi Jinping, Tiongkok merencanakan sejumlah geostrategi di kawasankawasan strategis, salah satunya ialah Timur Tengah. kawasan ini memang dikenal dengan melimpahnya minyak bumi yang penting bagi keberlangsungan ekonomi serta letaknya yang strategis. Hal tersebut membuat Beijing memberikan lebih banyak perhatiannya di kawasan ini karena keuntungan tersebut merupakan bagian dari kepentingan nasionalnya. Oleh sebab itu, salah satu upaya yang dilakukan Tiongkok dalam meraih kepentingannya ialah dengan melakukan hubungan bilateral dengan Mesir yang mana, negara ini memiliki posisi dan letak yang strategis serta dominasi politik paling berpengaruh di Timur Tengah. Melalui metode kualitatif, sumber data penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data primer dan sekunder yakni, mendapaatkan data dari hasil wawancara dengan para ahli terkait serta menelaah data berdasarkan fokus penelitian. Kemudiaan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepentingan geostrategis Tiongkok di Timur Tengah melalui hubungan bilateral dengan Mesir dengan menggunakan teori Foreign Policy analysis by Actor Specific serta konsep China’s International Strategic Layout Plan yang menjadi acuan dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis geostrategi Tiongkok di Timur Tengah dalam mengamankan ketahanan energinya serta memperkuat pengaruhnya di Timur Tengah melalui kerja sama ekonmi dengan menjalin hubungan bilateral dengan Mesir. Oleh sebab itu, kerja sama ekonomi dan investasi Tiongkok dengan Mesir merupakan salah satu upaya Beijing dalam mencapai kepentingan nasionalnya di kawasan Timur Tengah. Kepentingan Nasional. / Along with China's rise in significant economic and military sectors, it has also changed its foreign policy direction and goals increasingly aggressively and proactively. These advantages and momentum are used by Beijing in gaining dominance to become a superpower in the world. To achieve this ambition, under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, China plans a number of geostrategy in strategic areas, one of which is the Middle East. This area is indeed known for its abundance of petroleum which is important for economic sustainability and its strategic location. That makes Beijing pay more attention in the region because those gains are part of its national interests. Therefore, one of the efforts made by China in achieving its interests is by conducting bilateral relations with Egypt, which, the country has a strategic position and location and the most influential political dominance in the Middle East. Through qualitative methods, the data sources of this study use primary and secondary data sources, namely, obtaining data from the results of interviews with related experts and reviewing data based on research focus. Then This study aims to analyze China's geostrategic interests in the Middle East through bilateral relations with Egypt using the theory of Foreign Policy analysis by Actor Specific and the concept of China's International Strategic Layout Plan which is the reference of this study. The study also aims to analyze China's geostrategy in the Middle East in securing its energy security and strengthening its influence in the Middle East through economic cooperation by establishing bilateral relations with Egypt. Therefore, China's economic and investment cooperation with Egypt is one of Beijing's efforts to achieve its national interests in the middle east region.
