Abstract

Pasien terbanyak mengalami onset nyeri ≥ 12 jam, berjumlah 84 pasien (71,8%). Kata Kunci: Infark miokard akut, elevasi segmen ST. / Acute myocardial infarction is a condition characterized by myocardial tissue necrosis, resulting from inadequate blood supply due to acute blockage of coronary arteries. Myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation (STEMI) is a form of acute coronary syndrome caused by sudden reduction of blood flow in the coronary arteries due to thrombus occlusion of a pre-existing atherosclerotic plaque. This study aimed to investigate cases of STEMI at UKI General Hospital, utilizing a retrospective approach through using of medical records. Out of 320 patients treated at UKI General Hospital from January 2019 to August 2022, only 117 samples met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results revealed that the majority of STEMI patients were in the age range of 55-64 years (40.2%), with 84 male patients (71.8%) and 33 female patients (28.2%). The anterior location was the most common site of infarction, accounting for 36 patients (30.8%). There were 105 patients (89.7%) who had a history of hypertension, while 71 patients (60.7%) had not a history of diabetes mellitus. Dyslipidemia was reported in 78 patients (66.7%), while 71 patients (60.7%) did not have a family history of coronary heart disease (CHD). Most patients experienced pain onset for ≥ 12 hours, totaling 84 patients (71.8%). Keywords: Acute myocardial infarction, ST segment elevation
