Abstract

Kejadian stres merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering terjadi pada kalangan mahasiswa. Tingginya kejadian stres pada mahasiswa dapat mengganggu keefektifan mahasiswa dalam menjalankan aktifitas perkuliahannya. Stres pada mahasiswa tidak hanya mempengaruhi kualitas belajar namun juga dapat mempengaruhi kondisi fisik mahasiswa, salah satunya yaitu terjadinya gangguan gastrointestinal yang salah satu contohnya adalah dispepsia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat stres dan dispepsia fungsional pada mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia Angkatan 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan sampel sebanyak 103 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner DASS 42 dan pengukuran gejala dispepsia. Menurut penelitian ini, mayoritas dari mahasiswa FK UKI Angkatan 2020 memiliki tingkat stres yang normal, dengan persentase sebesar 65%. Uji Chi Square digunakan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara variabel. Dari kesimpulan yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat stres dan dispepsia fungsional (p <0,05). / Stress is one of the problem that often occurs among students. The high incidence of stress on students can interrupt the effectiveness of students in carrying out their lecture activities. Stress on students not only affects the quality of learning but also affect the physical condition of students, one of them is the occurrence of gastrointestinal disorders and one of the example is dyspepsia. The objective of this study is to discover the correlation between stress levels and functional dyspepsia from students of Medical Faculty of the Indonesian Christian University class of 2020. This research is an analytic descriptive study with a sample of 103 people. The data we collect was carried out using the DASS 42 questionnaire and measuring dyspepsia based on the symptoms experienced. . According to the findings of this research, 65% of the students from the 2020 class at the Faculty of Medicine in the Indonesian Christian University have typical stress level. The Chi Square test is utilized to establish the correlation between variables. And based on the results. It can be inferred that there exists a meaningful association between the stress level and functional dyspepsia (P <0,05)
