Abstract

Diare adalah suatu kondisi yang dapat menyebabkan seseorang mengalami peningkatan frekuensi buang air besar lebih dari tiga kali dalam waktu 24 jam yang disertai dengan adanya perubahan konsistensi feses menjadi lebih lunak atau lebih cair. World Health Organization dan Humanitarian Aid Organization memperkirakan ada sekitar 1,9 juta anak di seluruh negara di dunia yang berusia di bawah 5 tahun meninggal karena penyakit diare disetiap tahunnya. Hasil data dari Kemenkes RI tahun 2020 menyatakan penyebab kematian terbanyak pada kelompok anak berumur 1-5 tahun adalah diare. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran kasus diare akut pada pasien balita yang dirawat inap di RSUD Budhi Asih Jakarta periode 2018-2021. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan pengambilan data secara retrospektif, melalui penggunaan data rekam medik pasien. Dari 66 pasien didapatkan hasil penelitian yaitu kelompok penderita diare akut tertinggi pada kelompok usia 12-23 bulan sebanyak 29 pasien (44%) sebagai kelompok usia dengan penderita diare akut tertinggi, diikuti kelompok yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki sebagai penderita diare akut terbanyak yaitu sebanyak 39 pasien (59,1%), pasien yang mengalami diare akut dengan status gizi kurang sebanyak 58 pasien (87,9%) dan pasien diare akut dengan status dehidrasi ringan/sedang adalah yang terbanyak yaitu sebanyak 58 pasien (87,9%). Kata kunci: Diare akut, balita, status gizi. / Diarrhea is a condition that can cause a person to experience an increase in the frequency of defecation more than three times within 24 hours, accompanied by a change in the consistency of the stool to become softer or more liquid. World Health Organization and Humanitarian Aid Organization estimate that around 1.9 children worldwide under the age of 5 die from diarrheal diseases each year. Data from the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2020 stated that diarrhea was the most common cause of death in children aged 1–5 years. The purpose of this research was to find out the description of cases of acute diarrhea in under-five patients who were hospitalized at Budhi Asih Jakarta Hospital for the 2018–2021 period. This type of research is descriptive and is carried out by collecting data retrospectively through patient medical record data. Of the 66 patients, the results of the study showed that the group with the highest number of acute diarrhea sufferers was in the age group of 12–23 months, with as many as 29 patients (44%), followed by the male group as the most acute diarrhea sufferers, which is 39 patients (59,1%), patients with acute diarrhea and poor nutritional status as many as 58 patients (87,9) and 58 patients (87,9%) had acute diarrhea with mild/moderate dehydration.
