Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) menyebutkan, stunting menjadi masalah kesehatan ketika prevalensi sudah mencapai di atas 20%. Tahun 2022, prevalensi stunting di Indonesia masih di atas batas normal, sebesar 21,6%. Salah satu faktor yang mempunyai pengaruh tinggi dengan stunting adalah pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi. Mahasiswa program studi kedokteran sudah seharusnya memiliki pengetahuan dasar tentang stunting. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif bersifat deskriptif analitik dan memakai pendekatan dengan metode cross-sectional. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini mengambil data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Terdapat 68 responden berusia 19-20 tahun (67%), dan 34 responden yang berusia 21-22 tahun (33%). Terdapat 80 responden (78%) perempuan dan 22 responden (22%) laki-laki. 36 mahasiswa (35%) memiliki IPK antara 2,00-2,99 dan 66 mahasiswa (65%) memiliki IPK antara 3,00-4,00. 75 responden (73%) memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang stunting. Terdapat hubungan antara umur dengan pengetahuan tentang stunting. 73% responden berusia 19-20 tahun memiliki pengetahuan tentang stunting dengan kategori baik. 75% responden perempuan mempunyai pengetahuan tentang stunting dengan kategori baik. Namun tidak ada korelasi antara jenis kelamin responden dengan tingkat pengetahuan mereka. Hasil dari analisis didapatkan adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan stunting dengan IPK. In 2022, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is still above the normal limit, at 21.6%. One of the factors that has a high influence on stunting is the mother's knowledge of nutrition. Medical study program students should have basic knowledge about stunting. This research is a quantitative analytic descriptive study and uses a cross-sectional approach. The data source in this study took primary data collected through questionnaires. There were 68 respondents aged 19-20 years (67%), and 34 respondents aged 21-22 years (33%). There were 80 respondents (78%) female and 22 respondents (22%) male. 36 students (35%) had GPA between 2.00-2.99 and 66 students (65%) had GPA between 3.00-4.00. 75 respondents (73%) have good knowledge about stunting. There is a relationship between age and knowledge about stunting. 73% of respondents aged 19-20 years have good knowledge about stunting. 75% of female respondents have good knowledge about stunting. However, there is no correlation between the gender of the respondents and their level of knowledge.
