Abstract

Perkembangan yang sangat pesat dalam berbagai bidang, seperti ekonomi, sosial, budaya dan pariwisata di kota-kota besar di Indonesia membuat pekerjaan menjadi hal yang mendominasi kehidupan masyarakat. Dengan rutinitas pekerjaan yang padat membuat masyarakat menjadi jenuh dan membutuhkan hiburan untuk melepaskan kejenuhan tersebut. Olahraga hadir sebagai salah satu hiburan yang mudah untuk dilakukan dan dapat dilakukan oleh semua kalangan masayarakat dari anak-anak, remaja maupun orang dewasa. Olahraga merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang tidak harus dipenuhi, tetapi dengan berolahraga dapat mendapatkan berbagai macam manfaat. Olahraga tidak hanya terbatas pada ilmu pengetahuan dan sebuah kegiatan, tetapi olahraga menjadi sebuah sajian yang dapat dinikmati wujudnya, sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah tempat olahraga dan hiburan. Masyarakat perkotaan memiliki waktu yang sangat terbatas sehingga dibutuhkan satu tempat untuk mereka beristirahat melepaskan penat sebelum beraktivitas kembali. Tempat olahraga dan hiburan merupakan usaha yang tepat karena cocok dengan lifestyle masyarakat perkotaan, tempat hiburan sebagai sarana untuk bersantai, pertemnuan bisnis, reuni, arisan, dan sebagainya. Sportainment merupakan tempat olahraga sekaligus hiburan yang bersifat multifungsi sehingga publik dapat menikmati berbagai macam bentuk olahraga dan entertaiment dalam satu lokasi. Sportainment yang dimaksud merupakan suatu tempat hiburan yang dikategorikan untuk masyarakat menengah keatas, dimana di dalamnya terdapat berbagai macam kegiatan olahraga, entertainment, dan juga tempat beristirahat. Perancangan dari Sportainment ini memiliki konsep Hi-tech dengan pendekatan ruang atraktif. Konsep ini memiliki pengertian yaitu teknologi tercanggih saat ini (teknologi kekinian) sedangkan pendekatan atraktif memiliki karakteristik tersendiri yaitu kontras, dinamis, dan mengejutkan. Kata Kunci: Olahraga, Hiburan, Sportainment, Hi-tech. / Vast strides in various areas, such as economics, social, cultural, and tourism in the major cities of Indonesia make work the thing that dominates people's lives. The tight routine of works left the society saturated and need of an entertainment to release the saturation. Sports present as one of the easiest entertainment to do and can be done by anyone in the community like children, youth and adults. Exercise is one of the activities that does not have to be fulfilled, but by exercising we can get various kinds of benefits. Sport is not only about knowledge and exercising, but it becomes a presentation that can be enjoyed, so it requiring a place for sport and entertainment. Urban communities have a very limited time so they need one place to release the saturation before they return to their activities. Sports and entertainment venues are the right business because they are suitable with the lifestyle of urban communities, entertainment places as a place to relax, business meetings, reunions, social gathering, and others. Sportainment is a multifunctional sports and entertainment venue so that the communities can enjoy various forms of sports and entertainment in one place. The sportainment in question is a place of entertainment categorized for middle and upper society, in which there are various kinds of sports, entertainment, and also a place to rest. The design of this Sportainment has a Hi-tech concept with an attractive space approach. This concept has the meaning that today's most sophisticated technology (contemporary technology) while the attractive approach has its own characteristics namely contrast, dynamic, and surprising.
