Abstract

Alat berat merupakan hal vital bagi perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan. Meningkatnya demand batu bara oleh konsumen menyebabkan banyak perusahaan melakukan investasi pengadaan alat berat baik secara beli langsung maupun sewa beli. Analisis kelayakan investasi yang baik bukan hanya mencakup aspek finansial saja, namun juga memperhitungkan maintenance cost atas minor dan major component yang akan dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan. Perbandingan antara maintenance cost dengan analisis kelayakan investasi merupakan salah satu cara untuk membuat suatu standar parameter pemilihan investasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis pengaruh maintenance cost terhadap analisis kelayakan investasi pada PT. XYZ dengan perhitungan cost per hour, net present value, internal rate of return, payback period dan biaya pembelian unit baru untuk membuat suatu pemodelan pemilihan unit sehingga didapatkan hasil pemodelan untuk menentukan unit loader yang paling layak untuk diinvestasikan dari sisi teknik maupun ekonomi. Penelitian ini berhasil membuat pemodelan yang menghasilkan unit loader Caterpillar CAT390F kapasitas 120 ton sebagai unit terbaik untuk diinvestasikan dari sisi ekonomi maupun teknik dengan total nilai akhir 91,51%. Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan membahas purna jual dari vendor, data geografis dan geologis untuk menghasilkan hasil pemodelan yang lebih akurat. The increasing demand for coal by consumers causes many companies to invest in heavy equipment procurement both directly and by lease. A good investment feasibility analysis not only covers the financial aspects, but also takes into account the maintenance costs of minor and major components that will be issued by the company. Comparison between maintenance cost and investment feasibility analysis is one way to create a standard investment selection parameter. This research was conducted by analyzing the effect of maintenance costs on investment feasibility analysis in PT.XYZ with calculation of cost per hour, net present value, internal rate of return, payback period and cost of buying new units to make a modeling of unit selection so that modeling results are obtained to determine the loader unit that is most feasible to invest in from the technical and economic side. This study successfully created a modeling that resulted in caterpillar CAT390F loader unit capacity of 120 tons as the best unit to invest in economically and technically with a total final value of 91.51%. More research is needed by discussing after-sales from vendors, geographical and geological data to produce more accurate modeling results.
